What to Wear for Valentine’s Day

Hi friends! Well we’re less than a month away from the first “big” holiday of the new year. Have you thought about what to wear for Valentine’s Day? Maybe the bigger question is, do you even think about what to wear for Valentine’s Day?

I’m not what I’d call a big “theme dresser”, but I don’t mind a subtle nod to St. Valentine. When I saw this sweater on the Chico’s website, I knew it was an “add to cart” moment. I love black and white, and the hearts are super cute, but not limited to Valentine’s Day in this color scheme.

I’ve already worn this with black pants to church, and it looked so sharp. The red pants are super cute for Valentine’s Day though. These pants have the perfect amount of stretch in them, and the comfort is amazing. They are perfect for work wear and you won’t even feel like you can’t wait for the end of the day to get them off. That’s saying something friends.

Accessories are another great way to sport a little Valentine’s Day spirit without going all out. I love these seed bead earrings because they pack a lot of punch, but aren’t heavy. You can find this style of earring in lots of colors and shapes on Amazon.

This necklace can be worn double like I have it here, or you can wear it as a long pendant. I also love pieces that can perform double duty.

This outfit is one of my favorites so far from Chico’s. It looks adorable and I feel great wearing it. That’s half the battle. Finding clothes that both look and feel great can be a real challenge. I’ll have to say that most of the styles I share from Chico’s are comfortable. They do color, prints and comfort well.

  • You look so cute! I love this outfit! I am freaking obsessed with the beaded lightweight cocktail earrings. I have the two bottom pairs. I have tequila, Topo Chico (non-alcoholic of course), prosecco, champagne, mojitos, and green Irish beer for St. Patrick's Day. Yes, I have a problem. I could really use some Valentine ones, so I will check out those links!
Chico's is killing it this season. Love that you are showing so much.

  • I don't dress for Valentine's Day, but pink and hearts is very much my aesthetic all year round, so I can def get behind Valentine's decor! If only I ever wore a statement earring... those seed bead options you posted are just darling! Hope you're having a great weekend, Blog Mom! :D xoxo
