Hi friends! Walk in any store and you’ll find bright beautiful colors of spring beckoning. I am beyond ready, and I don’t even live in someplace that’s frigid for months. I stopped into our Loft the other day for a pre-spring try on.
I think every spring Loft comes out with a version of a chambray dress. They do a really nice job with chambray. It’s soft and light and hangs beautifully. They also add details in the form of ruffles or belts or both. This dress will work now if you live in a temperate climate and it won’t be long until it work most other areas. For now, add a bootie and then transition with a mule or sandal.
Blurry pic, but adorable shirt. It’s a fun mix of fabrics and also comes in navy with white stripes. Super cute for casual days and will look cute with shorts.
I shared these jeans in a previous Loft try on here. They are mid-rise, which if you’re short waisted like me, they fit so much better than high rise.
I feel like orange is a love or hate color, and I fall in the love camp. The vibrancy of it is just plain happy. Some people believe orange works best with dark hair colors, but I think it also looks great on blondes.
This blouse has all the sweet details I love. Eyelet and a little ruffle around the neck.
Green was big this winter and it’s also slated to be big for spring. This cute blouse has plenty of cute details. Pleating on the front, pearl buttons and the ruffled cuff. It’s a flowy cotton and looks great with jeans, but will easily transition to workwear with pants or a skirt. Think about pairing it with a pair of pants from the Perfect Pant collection at Spanx. Oversized shirts are showing up on every website, and in stores. They’re great for a relaxed look or layer them with a cute sweater.
SHIRT || JEANS || MULE (OPTION)
As soon as I saw this blouse I loved it. The color, print and ruffles are basically perfect. This is another one that looks super cute with jeans, but think about it with white jeans, jeans shorts or here again pairing it with a pant for work. You could easily pair it with navy or royal blue.
I love the material this shirt is made out of. It’s a good basic with flair. The sleeves are ruched and I love a v-neck. Word of advice, this one seemed to run small, so if you are between sizes, go up.
I remember back in high school when Coca-Cola rugby shirts were all the rage. Well this is an updated rugby with feminine details.
I love this chartreuse color and always have. I also love a boatneck style, so this one is a double winner. It’s a super soft knit, and comes in other colors.
A double breasted sweater in navy and ivory stripe! This is so cute, and has a nautical feel that never seems to go out of style. Wear it buttoned like this or open with a shirt underneath.

I am looking forward to visiting the Loft when we are in the US over Easter. Looks like you found some great pieces to play with some of the upcoming trends. I love that stripped, puffy sleeved, tee. A classic with a twist.
