New Spring Styles from Talbots

Hi friends! Only 5 weeks until spring. Yahoo! I’ll be the first to admit I have a hard time shifting gears, but the stores force my hand. I stopped in and checked out the new spring styles from Talbots, and found some really cute looks. As of last night when I was writing this, you could get 25% off full price purchases.

Talbots new arrivals – shirts

A chambray shirt is a closet must have. It’s a timeless classic that never seems to go out of style. I really love the lighter wash of this one AND the snaps. Yes, snaps vs. buttons. They’re mother of pearl and add such a fun detail. They also make it really easy to get on and off.

The white jeans are a petite and the length is great on me at 5’3″. White jeans are yet another closet must have, and thankfully the whole no white after Labor Day rule has finally been put to rest. Now we can wear our white jeans year round, even here in the south.

Cotton Floral Blouse

This blouse is a beautiful, soft, lightweight cotton. This style is so good as the days begin to warm up, but aren’t quite there yet. They are also great for layering when the morning and late afternoon/early evenings are cooler. This one comes in two colorways.

Puff Sleeve Sweatshirt

What is it with me and sweatshirts? I can’t seem to stop trying them on and consequently purchasing them. This sweatshirt is a sweet style with the puff sleeve, and it’s so soft both inside and out.

New Arrivals – 1/4 Zip Pullover

The new spring styles from Talbots included a really cute line of athleisure/casual wear. This is a knit 1/4 zip pullover that’s super cute layered over a workout top with leggings, or with white jeans like I’m wearing here.

I absolutely loved everything about these pieces. The cami has a strappy back that is perfect layered with leggings and this adorable striped knit jacket. Size down in the cami. This is an easy everyday look or a great travel outfit. Just throw on your favorite sneakers or flip flops.

Talbots new arrivals – Utility Jacket

I had a utility jacket that I just got rid of last year. They style had been around for a long time and felt tired. This new version with the shorter length is super cute and great for layering. The army green is a neutral and can be paired with almost any color.
