What’s New at Talbots

Hi friends! I hope your weekend was a good as mine. It was filled with friends and family, and it doesn’t get any better than that. I dropped in the other day to see what’s new at Talbots and found some really cute pieces to try on and share with you. I’m not sure what’s on sale today, but I feel pretty confident some things are. They seem to run sales kind of like our buddies at Loft. *Edit, currently you can get 25% off your purchase.

Look #1

These two pieces are soooo cute!!! I immediately fell in love with them. A chambray shirt is a closet must have and this one has such sweet details. Ruffles and smocking! Two of my favorites.

A pair of olive chinos are also a great pair of pants to have in your closet. Olive is a neutral, and can go with so many different tops and jackets.

This pair of mules is from Chico’s and they are really comfy. They also come in black. They are very walkable and I have both colors.

Look #2

Here are the same olive chinos, just rolled up. I actually think I like them rolled better than unrolled. You could throw on a pair of sneakers with them for a more casual look.

This navy sweater has a cute collar and looks cute by itself or you’ll see in a minute it’s cute on your shoulders too.

If there’s one thing I know, it’s that button up shirts are all over the place. I think they are one of the must have items to add to your closet. This one is really good. I love the stripes and color. Very classic. Look at the placket how it’s turned a different direction. That really adds visual interest.

This is a good pair of straight let jeans. I’m in aN 8 petite, and the length is perfect. Most of the time when I buy a pair of pants in a petite, I size up one.

Remember when I said the sweater was cute over your shoulders? You could also make a nice deep cuff on these jeans, add a pair of sneakers and have a sporty look.

Here the same jeans are turned up with the deep cuff. I really think they’re so cute this way. This is the same sweater as the navy, just in a fun stripe. This is the perfect early spring outfit.

Talbots has a really nice lounge line. This sweater and sweater pants are well made, and a nice cotton. The pants are a normal length on me, but I think they are intended to be cropped. #shocking

Look #7

The sweater is also really cute paired with jeans. These are the jeans I happened to have on. They’re from Chico’s and I love them. They are very minimally distressed and the distressing is fabric backed, so you get the look and feel without showing skin.
