Three New Spring Dresses

Fit tip:

I find the Gibson brand to run generous. I get XS in most everything except blazers, and I get smalls in those. If I’m only layering a sleeveless shell/cami under them, I can do the XS, but the sleeves seem to be cut small.

Seersucker Dress

This dress has a smocked yoke, and you know how I feel about smocking. I adore it to say the very least. I smocked when my babies were little and dressed Katie in smocking as long as I could push it. The material is a seersucker feel and so nice and light for spring and summer. If the little check isn’t your style it is also available in black. You could easily remove this belt and add a raffia/rattan belt.

Little Black Dress (LBD)

Nothing beats a little black dress (LBD). Guess what? This one has a smocked top. I know you’re shocked. HA! The angel style sleeves are so sweet and it has pockets. You can dress it up with a heel or you could wear sneakers for casual summer style. This one also comes in a floral, and florals seem to be trending this spring.

Floral (faux) Wrap Dress

This floral dress is feminine and pretty. It’s a flowy polyester with a faux wrap top and flutter sleeves. The belt is removable so just like the first dress, you could wear a woven belt with it and add texture, and it has pockets. I don’t know what it is about us women that makes us love pockets, but we sure do.

This necklace is the same one I have on with the black dress, just turned over. The big stone reverses to a gold coin with a beautiful flower. I love the bold statement it makes and the classic look.
