Hi friends! Did you know this Sunday is Father’s Day? I can’t believe I haven’t shared any Father’s Day gift ideas yet. Today is the day. Here are some that are from Amazon, and some from Nordstrom, so you can likely get most of them in time.
HYDRO FLASK INSULATED BAG – I wouldn’t mind having this bag myself. LOL What a great thing to keep in the car for Costco trips and taking on vacation or boating.
RESISTANCE BAND SET – For the man who likes to keep fit, these are perfect for home or travel.
3 IN 1 CHARGING STATION – I hate having a bunch of cords showing. Having a spot that will hold his phone, watch and Airpods will keep his desk or bedside table tidy and organized.
STAINLESS STEEL GRILL TOOLS – Most men are the grill masters in the family and I bet a new set of tools would be a welcomed gift.
COLLAPSIBLE TRUNK ORGANIZER – I keep a collapsible crate in the back of my vehicle, and this would be great for a man to keep in his trunk or storage area for organization.
POWER PACK PORTABLE CHARGER – Phones seem to die quickly and at the most inopportune times. Having a power pack at the ready assures he won’t get caught in a bind. Kent loves his.
TILE STARTER PACK – Seriously…does your husband or father lose his keys or wallet regularly. These are great for keeping up with those. Some people also stick one in their luggage when flying for those times when you get to your destination, but your bag doesn’t. You can at least get an idea of where it is.
MASSAGE GUN – These were supper popular a couple of years ago, and I think a man would still like to have one for sore muscles.
UNDER ARMOUR GOLF SHORTS – Most men don’t like to shop, so new shorts are always a good idea. Don’t tell, but I’ve ordered a bunch for Kent to try on for Father’s Day. HA!
ADJUSTABLE DUMBBELLS – If the man/men in your life like to work out, but have limited space, these adjustable dumbbells are just what he needs. They don’t take up much space and and can be adjusted to meet his fitness level.
INSULATED MUG – Who’s the favorite child is a running joke in our family. This insulated mug is perfect.
INSULATED TUMBLER – After the coffee in the insulated mug, he can move on to his favorite drink for daytime.
WEEKEND BAG – Even men need a nice piece of weekend travel luggage. This bag looks like a good choice.
The 4th of July is just around the corner and that means lots of cookouts and backyard BBQ’s. There are so many fun outdoor games for July 4th, and you can order them on Amazon to get them in time. These would be fun to have set up in stations around your yard, or some of them could easily be carried to a park if you’re gathering there.
I’ve seen several of these in use at the beach as well. Big kids/young adults and even older adults sometimes enjoy having something to do when spending an entire day on the beach.
GIANT WOODEN YARD DICE – You can play two games with these giant dice. Yardzee or Yardkle. HAHAHA!
YARD DARTS – Not only are these yard darts, they glow in the dark. Now personally, by the time it gets dark during the summer we’re already in our jammies, but if you like to walk on the wild side, these are for you. LOL
YARD CONNECT FOUR – Did you have Connect Four as a kid? I did, and I loved it. I think this would be fun, and even the littles could play.
BADMINTON – This looks like such an easy way to play Badminton. This game has been around forever. This net doesn’t require spikes, and I think that would keep it from sagging.
LADDER TOSS – We bought one of these years ago for Katie’s graduation party. I had played it somewhere and it was a lot of fun. We will be pulling this out the next time we have a gathering.
HORSESHOES – I haven’t played horseshoes in years, but I used to love it. Most kids these days have probably never heard of it. Let’s bring it back.
BOCCE BALL – The only time I’ve played this was at an Italian restaurant, but it was a lot of fun.
GIANT JENGA – Not gonna’ lie, this one scares me a little. We went to a party with a reallly giant one, and I was terrified it would fall on someone. I think this one is a slightly smaller scale, so probably a lot safer.
CORN HOLE – This is a crowd pleaser, and I see a lot of people who take them (in a wagon) out on the beach to play. Little kids love playing with the bean bags for this one.
Check out this post with red, white and blue looks to go with your new outdoor games for July 4th.
Or this post has more red, white and blue all American summer style that would be fantastic for the 4th.

There are usually things included in the newsletter for subscribers that don’t appear on the blog.😉 It’s kind of like Instagram. I have that charging station and love it - these are great gift ideas!

I've definitely gone the "backup phone battery" route for my dad before--I don't understand how his phone is always at least half dead! But he always forgets the backup battery (unless he's traveling or something)--you can only do so much to help them, haha! Hope you're having a great weekend, Blog Mom! xoxo
