Hi friends! I sure hope your weekend was as lovely as mine. We had a wonderful time yesterday celebrating Kent. I made brunch, and the kids all came over. We got to spend hours just visiting and when they left, we agreed it makes our hearts so happy to spend time with them as grown ups. Let’s look at what last week’s top 5 sellers were.
This black gauze maxi dress was #1 last week, and with good reason. The gauze is such a fabulous fabric, and the cut is super cute. I adore the empire waist line. It’s so flattering. This is the perfect LBD to have on standby for almost any occasion. You can dress it up with heels, keep it a little more casual with a cute sandal or even add a flip flop for a super cool, beachy look.
I LOVE this color combination of hot pink and orange. It’s been a favorite for quite some time. This blouse is a beautiful light cotton that is cute with jeans, but would really shine with a pair of pants for work wear. Imagine how sharp it would look with white pants. The epitome of summer.
I think I’ve worn this large beaded bracelet almost every day since receiving it. It looks great layered with other beaded bracelets, and I love the statement it makes. It also fits my wrist really well.
These sandals! I LOVE these too. I have the black pair and the neutral pair, and I find myself grabbing them all the time. They are so cute, and comfortable. These look adorable with jeans, shorts and dresses.
This sweater is darling. You know I’m a huge fan of a v-neck, and it has a scalloped edge that is such a cute detail. It comes in white and hot pink. The perfect little summer sweater.
I’m curious…Did you purchase any of last week’s top 5?
The 4th of July is just around the corner and that means lots of cookouts and backyard BBQ’s. There are so many fun outdoor games for July 4th, and you can order them on Amazon to get them in time. These would be fun to have set up in stations around your yard, or some of them could easily be carried to a park if you’re gathering there.
I’ve seen several of these in use at the beach as well. Big kids/young adults and even older adults sometimes enjoy having something to do when spending an entire day on the beach.
GIANT WOODEN YARD DICE – You can play two games with these giant dice. Yardzee or Yardkle. HAHAHA!
YARD DARTS – Not only are these yard darts, they glow in the dark. Now personally, by the time it gets dark during the summer we’re already in our jammies, but if you like to walk on the wild side, these are for you. LOL
YARD CONNECT FOUR – Did you have Connect Four as a kid? I did, and I loved it. I think this would be fun, and even the littles could play.
BADMINTON – This looks like such an easy way to play Badminton. This game has been around forever. This net doesn’t require spikes, and I think that would keep it from sagging.
LADDER TOSS – We bought one of these years ago for Katie’s graduation party. I had played it somewhere and it was a lot of fun. We will be pulling this out the next time we have a gathering.
HORSESHOES – I haven’t played horseshoes in years, but I used to love it. Most kids these days have probably never heard of it. Let’s bring it back.
BOCCE BALL – The only time I’ve played this was at an Italian restaurant, but it was a lot of fun.
GIANT JENGA – Not gonna’ lie, this one scares me a little. We went to a party with a reallly giant one, and I was terrified it would fall on someone. I think this one is a slightly smaller scale, so probably a lot safer.
CORN HOLE – This is a crowd pleaser, and I see a lot of people who take them (in a wagon) out on the beach to play. Little kids love playing with the bean bags for this one.
Check out this post with red, white and blue looks to go with your new outdoor games for July 4th.
Or this post has more red, white and blue all American summer style that would be fantastic for the 4th.

There are usually things included in the newsletter for subscribers that don’t appear on the blog.😉 It’s kind of like Instagram.
