5 Recent Amazon Purchases

Hi friends! I almost didn’t do a post for today, but then I thought I’d share 5 recent Amazon purchases I’m loving. Don’t be surprised if I am sporadic in the next two week or even go awol. With all we having going on, something might have to give and it will likely be blog posts. Please follow along on Instagram to keep up with the latest happenings.

tennis elbow brace

I’ve had tennis elbow for months and it just doesn’t want to go away. I ordered this brace and I do think it’s helping. I wear it whenever I’m doing weight training. I’m still careful, and it still hurts, but I’m hopeful it’s starting to improve.

rug grippers

I was so tired of my runners shifting when we walked on them, so I ordered these. They work GREAT! I stuck them on one end and the long runner in the foyer hasn’t budged. As luck would have it, they’re on sale.

sweatshirt

I love this sweatshirt. It’s great alternative and twin look to a much pricier one. It’s so soft and comes in colors galore. It’s currently 20% off.

workout shorts

Katie got me started wearing these shorts. I borrowed a pair of hers one day and really liked them. They are roomy and the fabric is super soft. It’s a slick-ish material, with a built in “under-short”, and they come in tons of colors. I have this color and hot pink. They’re currently on sale.

stackable bracelets

I’ve been wearing one of these stacked with my Lisi Lerch bracelet everyday since they arrived. They fit great, go with so many of my clothes, and add a nice pop of color. They are very affordable.

Two years ago I would have never thought I’d be visiting Amazon every day…and trust me, it is everyday. LOL When I went back and looked at recent orders, it was hard to narrow it down to 5 recent Amazon purchases I’m loving, but these five are definitely worth sharing with you.

The 4th of July is just around the corner and that means lots of cookouts and backyard BBQ’s. There are so many fun outdoor games for July 4th, and you can order them on Amazon to get them in time. These would be fun to have set up in stations around your yard, or some of them could easily be carried to a park if you’re gathering there.

I’ve seen several of these in use at the beach as well. Big kids/young adults and even older adults sometimes enjoy having something to do when spending an entire day on the beach.

GIANT WOODEN YARD DICE – You can play two games with these giant dice. Yardzee or Yardkle. HAHAHA!

YARD DARTS – Not only are these yard darts, they glow in the dark. Now personally, by the time it gets dark during the summer we’re already in our jammies, but if you like to walk on the wild side, these are for you. LOL

YARD CONNECT FOUR – Did you have Connect Four as a kid? I did, and I loved it. I think this would be fun, and even the littles could play.

BADMINTON – This looks like such an easy way to play Badminton. This game has been around forever. This net doesn’t require spikes, and I think that would keep it from sagging.

LADDER TOSS – We bought one of these years ago for Katie’s graduation party. I had played it somewhere and it was a lot of fun. We will be pulling this out the next time we have a gathering.

HORSESHOES – I haven’t played horseshoes in years, but I used to love it. Most kids these days have probably never heard of it. Let’s bring it back.

BOCCE BALL – The only time I’ve played this was at an Italian restaurant, but it was a lot of fun.

GIANT JENGA – Not gonna’ lie, this one scares me a little. We went to a party with a reallly giant one, and I was terrified it would fall on someone. I think this one is a slightly smaller scale, so probably a lot safer.

CORN HOLE – This is a crowd pleaser, and I see a lot of people who take them (in a wagon) out on the beach to play. Little kids love playing with the bean bags for this one.

Check out this post with red, white and blue looks to go with your new outdoor games for July 4th.

Or this post has more red, white and blue all American summer style that would be fantastic for the 4th.

There are usually things included in the newsletter for subscribers that don’t appear on the blog.😉 It’s kind of like Instagram. I share things all week long in stories and on the grid that don’t necessarily make it here.

Have a wonderful Monday!!!!

  • Great finds. Love the shorts with the panties built in. Just wish they made them a little longer for the over 60 crowd!!

Pinned that sweatshirt. Can't think about sweatshirts in this heat but really, really like it.

I think everyone is going to get some of those rug huggers for Christmas.
