Hi friends and Happy Wednesday!!! This week is zooming by. I’ve got some new fall looks from Gibsonlook to share with you today. You can use my code LISA10 on all of these pieces, and any purchases at Gibsonlook.
Have you heard crochet is popular again. This sweater has the sweetest crochet look and details on the shoulders. It works great while the weather is still warm, but will be really cute under a blazer too.
The jeans are so crazy comfy and I’ve worn them a ton. I had to size down 2 sizes in them. They have a really nice stretch to them without getting baggy while wearing.
Tah-dah…see, I told you it would look cute under a blazer. I have so many of these blazers. They come in a huge variety of colors, and even several styles. [Like double breasted and Moto]
This olive green is a new color for fall and it’s one of my favorite colors to wear. I think it looks really good on blondes. I wear a small in these blazers, but in all other tops from Gibsonlook, I get XS.
I had this same blouse in the spring in a beautiful pink (still available) The colors are beautiful and really read fall. It has the pretties cuffs and lace detail at the shoulders. You could easily pair this with dress pants or a skirt for a workwear look.
Gibsonlook really knows how to do prints and florals. This one is so pretty, and with the variety of colors you can pair it with almost anything. This is another one that works well with jeans, but could translate to work with dressier bottoms.
I have this dress is a pretty raspberry color, but this rust is so on trend for fall. You can remove the tie and replace with a rattan or leather belt, or wear loose. The hem is slightly longer in the back and the ruffled “collar” is super cute. It has pockets, and well, you know I’m a fan of that.
I have a whole new box of styles from Gibsonlook upstairs to try on and share with you. They are coming out with new things all the time. Don’t forget you can use my code LISA10 on all of the new fall looks from Gibsonlook and all Gibsonlook purchases.
The 4th of July is just around the corner and that means lots of cookouts and backyard BBQ’s. There are so many fun outdoor games for July 4th, and you can order them on Amazon to get them in time. These would be fun to have set up in stations around your yard, or some of them could easily be carried to a park if you’re gathering there.
I’ve seen several of these in use at the beach as well. Big kids/young adults and even older adults sometimes enjoy having something to do when spending an entire day on the beach.
GIANT WOODEN YARD DICE – You can play two games with these giant dice. Yardzee or Yardkle. HAHAHA!
YARD DARTS – Not only are these yard darts, they glow in the dark. Now personally, by the time it gets dark during the summer we’re already in our jammies, but if you like to walk on the wild side, these are for you. LOL
YARD CONNECT FOUR – Did you have Connect Four as a kid? I did, and I loved it. I think this would be fun, and even the littles could play.
BADMINTON – This looks like such an easy way to play Badminton. This game has been around forever. This net doesn’t require spikes, and I think that would keep it from sagging.
LADDER TOSS – We bought one of these years ago for Katie’s graduation party. I had played it somewhere and it was a lot of fun. We will be pulling this out the next time we have a gathering.
HORSESHOES – I haven’t played horseshoes in years, but I used to love it. Most kids these days have probably never heard of it. Let’s bring it back.
BOCCE BALL – The only time I’ve played this was at an Italian restaurant, but it was a lot of fun.
GIANT JENGA – Not gonna’ lie, this one scares me a little. We went to a party with a reallly giant one, and I was terrified it would fall on someone. I think this one is a slightly smaller scale, so probably a lot safer.
CORN HOLE – This is a crowd pleaser, and I see a lot of people who take them (in a wagon) out on the beach to play. Little kids love playing with the bean bags for this one.
Check out this post with red, white and blue looks to go with your new outdoor games for July 4th.
Or this post has more red, white and blue all American summer style that would be fantastic for the 4th.
Have you signed up for my newsletters yet? You can do it at the bottom of this page. On Monday’s I share last weeks top 6 sellers, and on Friday’s there is a complete list of sales. There are usually things included in the newsletter for subscribers that don’t appear on the blog.😉 It’s kind of like Instagram.
