SPANX Kick Flare Jeans

Hi friends and Happy Wednesday! This is the post that almost didn’t happen. I was so tired last night, the last thing I wanted to do was write a blog post. I looked in my photos and saw these two ways to style the Spanx kick flare jeans and knew I had to share them with you.

A kick flare is one of my absolute favorite styles of pants. I have quite a few in my closet, and I have three pairs from Spanx. The white kick flare (that you can’t see through AT ALL), the “Perfect Pant” Kick Flare and the new Kick Flare Jeans. Why do I love them? They’re a great way to have a flare without going all out, and especially if you are on the petite side.

The first way I styled them was with this cute blouse from Gibsonlook that is great for casual wear, but will also make a great work wear piece. It also layers beautifully and the colors slightly muted and perfect for fall. I always wear an XS in tops from Gibson. You can use my code LISA10 for 10% off the top and use LISAXSPANX for 10% off the Spanx website.

The second look I styled the kick flare jeans with an Air Essentials peplum top, also from Spanx. If you haven’t felt the Air Essentials line yet, you are missing out. These pieces are crazy soft and comfortable. I love to travel in them or wear them for an elevated athleisure look. They’re coming out with more pieces like this peplum top though that can be worn more “dressy”.

The sandals I’m wearing in both of these are the shoes I wore with my Mother of the Bride dress. They were perfect. I knew I would be on my feet all day and it was absolutely the right decision. These sandals are really fun because they go with practically everything. I’ve worn them repeatedly since the wedding.

The 4th of July is just around the corner and that means lots of cookouts and backyard BBQ’s. There are so many fun outdoor games for July 4th, and you can order them on Amazon to get them in time. These would be fun to have set up in stations around your yard, or some of them could easily be carried to a park if you’re gathering there.

I’ve seen several of these in use at the beach as well. Big kids/young adults and even older adults sometimes enjoy having something to do when spending an entire day on the beach.

GIANT WOODEN YARD DICE – You can play two games with these giant dice. Yardzee or Yardkle. HAHAHA!

YARD DARTS – Not only are these yard darts, they glow in the dark. Now personally, by the time it gets dark during the summer we’re already in our jammies, but if you like to walk on the wild side, these are for you. LOL

YARD CONNECT FOUR – Did you have Connect Four as a kid? I did, and I loved it. I think this would be fun, and even the littles could play.

BADMINTON – This looks like such an easy way to play Badminton. This game has been around forever. This net doesn’t require spikes, and I think that would keep it from sagging.

LADDER TOSS – We bought one of these years ago for Katie’s graduation party. I had played it somewhere and it was a lot of fun. We will be pulling this out the next time we have a gathering.

HORSESHOES – I haven’t played horseshoes in years, but I used to love it. Most kids these days have probably never heard of it. Let’s bring it back.

BOCCE BALL – The only time I’ve played this was at an Italian restaurant, but it was a lot of fun.

GIANT JENGA – Not gonna’ lie, this one scares me a little. We went to a party with a reallly giant one, and I was terrified it would fall on someone. I think this one is a slightly smaller scale, so probably a lot safer.

CORN HOLE – This is a crowd pleaser, and I see a lot of people who take them (in a wagon) out on the beach to play. Little kids love playing with the bean bags for this one.

Check out this post with red, white and blue looks to go with your new outdoor games for July 4th.

Or this post has more red, white and blue all American summer style that would be fantastic for the 4th.

Have you signed up for my newsletters yet? You can do it at the bottom of this page. On Monday’s I share last weeks top 6 sellers, and on Friday’s there is a complete list of sales. There are usually things included in the newsletter for subscribers that don’t appear on the blog.😉 It’s kind of like Instagram. I share things all week long in stories and on the grid that don’t necessarily make it here.

Have a wonderful Monday!!!!
