Hi friends! I hope you’re week is going well. I’ve been on the hunt for art for my walls for 2 years with no luck. I finally figured out where to get new artwork, and I’m so excited I had to share it with you. These are from a company called Urban Garden Prints. This business is owned by two sisters, so it’s a small, woman owned business. Extra points for that.

After Katie moved out, I turned her room into the guest room because it’s a little bigger than the other room, and I turned the second bedroom into my office. I needed something on the walls in there and had an idea of what I wanted, and as luck would have it, I found the perfect pair of pictures.
This wall has been begging for something pretty. This pair is called ‘The Marks and The Monument’ and they are 24′ X 36″ on paper. The paper is actually more of a thick poster board. You can also get them on canvas.
I had been looking at pieces similar, but they were never the one. Aside from how much I loved this set, I also love that you can get them in different dimensions, framed or unframed, and the selection of frames are beautiful.
The townhouse is done predominately in blues and grays, to this pair was absolutely the perfect choice.
You can use my code COAST30 to get 30% off all artwork, but not frames.
This pair is in my office, and they are EXACTLY what I had in mind. I wanted to bring pink into the room with blue. I’m currently really in to abstracts, which is something new for me. These have such a presence and you will be seeing a lot of them in the background of outfit shots and reels. These are the ‘Patchwork Pair’ and they are 40 X 60.
I’m looking for a dresser to go on that wall and if I find one I like, I’ll turn one of the prints sideways to hang above it, and move one to the hall. That’s the fun thing about having a set like this, I can use them together or separate.
They have more than art and frames, like digital art files are designed to display perfectly on your Samsung Frame TV. They are an instantly downloadable, digital art file. They also have a beautiful selection of mirrors.
If you’ve been trying to figure out where to get new art, I hope this will be helpful and you’ll check them out.
The 4th of July is just around the corner and that means lots of cookouts and backyard BBQ’s. There are so many fun outdoor games for July 4th, and you can order them on Amazon to get them in time. These would be fun to have set up in stations around your yard, or some of them could easily be carried to a park if you’re gathering there.
I’ve seen several of these in use at the beach as well. Big kids/young adults and even older adults sometimes enjoy having something to do when spending an entire day on the beach.
GIANT WOODEN YARD DICE – You can play two games with these giant dice. Yardzee or Yardkle. HAHAHA!
YARD DARTS – Not only are these yard darts, they glow in the dark. Now personally, by the time it gets dark during the summer we’re already in our jammies, but if you like to walk on the wild side, these are for you. LOL
YARD CONNECT FOUR – Did you have Connect Four as a kid? I did, and I loved it. I think this would be fun, and even the littles could play.
BADMINTON – This looks like such an easy way to play Badminton. This game has been around forever. This net doesn’t require spikes, and I think that would keep it from sagging.
LADDER TOSS – We bought one of these years ago for Katie’s graduation party. I had played it somewhere and it was a lot of fun. We will be pulling this out the next time we have a gathering.
HORSESHOES – I haven’t played horseshoes in years, but I used to love it. Most kids these days have probably never heard of it. Let’s bring it back.
BOCCE BALL – The only time I’ve played this was at an Italian restaurant, but it was a lot of fun.
GIANT JENGA – Not gonna’ lie, this one scares me a little. We went to a party with a reallly giant one, and I was terrified it would fall on someone. I think this one is a slightly smaller scale, so probably a lot safer.
CORN HOLE – This is a crowd pleaser, and I see a lot of people who take them (in a wagon) out on the beach to play. Little kids love playing with the bean bags for this one.
Check out this post with red, white and blue looks to go with your new outdoor games for July 4th.
Or this post has more red, white and blue all American summer style that would be fantastic for the 4th.
