I can’t believe it’s here! Where has the time gone? Before I sign off for the year, I’ve got a new [to me] brand I wanted to share with you. It’s from Caryn Lawn, they are absolutely beautiful pieces, and the unique thing is that they are one size fits most. It’s a great concept. We got a few pieces to share on our Dallas trip a couple of weeks ago, and I also have a discount code that’s good through Christmas Day. You can use LISAR20 for 20% off your purchase.
These dresses and tops will fit sizes 2-12/14. It’s really crazy, but if your weight tends to fluctuate some, it’s genius. Even if you’re pretty steady, they are completely stunning, and pretty much year round. Both of the dresses I’m sharing would be perfect for so many occasions from church to wedding guest dresses, and don’t forget showers, Easter, Mother’s Day….any day. You can even pair them with sneakers for a casual day look. My friend Catherine does that and it’s so cute and fun.
The website does not do this dress justice. It is so much more beautiful in person. It’s a brocade type material [with pocket], and the collar stays popped, which I absolutely love. I thinks it’s beautiful and I felt great in it. I can’t wait to wear it again.
The second dress is more of a scuba material with the beautiful floral embellishments made of the same material. Both dresses comes in several colors, and the form of a blouse as well. I think they are both elegant looking, and again, Catherine tried them both on with sneakers.
The blouse Nanette (from Sweet Fringe Benefits) has on is the same version of the navy dress, and you can see Catherine (from Mix and Match Madness) wearing sneakers wit the pink dress. We’re all in the same universal size. I didn’t try on the blouse and could kick myself.
Here’s a good comparison of all three of us in the same dress and our sizes.
And my friend Michelle from Poised Petite in the blouse. Michelle is a size 0 at most, and the dresses did not work for her, but the blouse looked super cute.
So what do you think? Do you love them? I really think you have to try them on to fall in love. That’s what happened to me. I kept the pink dress, and I’m really wanting to order one like the navy and maybe the top. They’re so fun and unique and you will compliments every time you wear them. Don’t forget to use the code LISAR20, and that’s it’s only good through Christmas day.
I want to THANK YOU for being here with me in my little space on the internet and all of your support. I wish you and yours a very Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, and Healthy New Year.
I think I’m signing off for the rest of the year on the blog. I’m going to focus on time with family and friends. I’ll look forward to being back fresh in 2024. You can still catch me on Instagram in stories daily where I’ll be sharing life, and of course sales.
The 4th of July is just around the corner and that means lots of cookouts and backyard BBQ’s. There are so many fun outdoor games for July 4th, and you can order them on Amazon to get them in time. These would be fun to have set up in stations around your yard, or some of them could easily be carried to a park if you’re gathering there.
I’ve seen several of these in use at the beach as well. Big kids/young adults and even older adults sometimes enjoy having something to do when spending an entire day on the beach.
GIANT WOODEN YARD DICE – You can play two games with these giant dice. Yardzee or Yardkle. HAHAHA!
YARD DARTS – Not only are these yard darts, they glow in the dark. Now personally, by the time it gets dark during the summer we’re already in our jammies, but if you like to walk on the wild side, these are for you. LOL
YARD CONNECT FOUR – Did you have Connect Four as a kid? I did, and I loved it. I think this would be fun, and even the littles could play.
BADMINTON – This looks like such an easy way to play Badminton. This game has been around forever. This net doesn’t require spikes, and I think that would keep it from sagging.
LADDER TOSS – We bought one of these years ago for Katie’s graduation party. I had played it somewhere and it was a lot of fun. We will be pulling this out the next time we have a gathering.
HORSESHOES – I haven’t played horseshoes in years, but I used to love it. Most kids these days have probably never heard of it. Let’s bring it back.
BOCCE BALL – The only time I’ve played this was at an Italian restaurant, but it was a lot of fun.
GIANT JENGA – Not gonna’ lie, this one scares me a little. We went to a party with a reallly giant one, and I was terrified it would fall on someone. I think this one is a slightly smaller scale, so probably a lot safer.
CORN HOLE – This is a crowd pleaser, and I see a lot of people who take them (in a wagon) out on the beach to play. Little kids love playing with the bean bags for this one.
Check out this post with red, white and blue looks to go with your new outdoor games for July 4th.
Or this post has more red, white and blue all American summer style that would be fantastic for the 4th.
Have you signed up for my newsletters yet? You can do it at the bottom of this page. On Monday’s I share last weeks top 6 sellers, and on Friday’s there is a complete list of sales. There are usually things included in the newsletter for subscribers that don’t appear on the blog.😉 It’s kind of like Instagram.
