New 2 Piece Sets from Amazon

Hi friends! I’m back, and I’ve got two new 2 piece sets from Amazon to share with you. I was making some changes to the backend of the blog and it took much longer than expected due to the size of my blog so I wasn’t able to publish anything this week. I’ve been blogging for 8 years, and that’s a lot of posts that had to be migrated over to a new host. You probably just heard, “blah, blah, blah”. LOL I won’t bore you with anymore details.

Have you been seeing two piece sets everywhere? They came on fashion scene last spring, and man did they take off. Now everyone is sharing them, selling them and wearing them. One of the most popular places to find them is…where else? Amazon.

This is a super cute 2 piece sweater set from Amazon comes in 20 color options. You can wear it with sneakers or a cute pair of flats like I am. It has 2 buttons on the cuff, which is a nice detail. The knit is a nice quality and very soft. For reference, I’m wearing a small and I’m 5’3″, so if you’re a tall girl, these pants will be a wide leg cropped style on you.

I wear these smoothers from Spanx under any type of set like this. The Spanx AirEssentials, Gibsonlook sweater pants, and both of these sets from Amazon. They are so good and not uncomfortable. I have cellulite on my legs and it shows through any kind of knit pants. Without these, I wouldn’t be able to wear them.

I added my camel coat, which is such a good closest staple, and a classic piece. I feel like every woman should have a camel coat. You can wear it to church, work, or style it casual with sneakers and leggings.

This 2 piece set is not a sweatsuit, but not a sweater set either. It’s a knit that is a really good alternative to the Spanx AirEssentials, and less than half the price. This one comes in 10 colors. I really like that the pants have pockets. Did you know brown is trending for winter? For size reference, I’m wearing a small. This one runs a little longer than the sweater set.

I don’t wear hats a lot, but I ordered this cute monogrammed ball cap. It’s corduroy and I thought it looked cute with this set. It and the tote are from a really cute online boutique called Sprinkled with Pink. What a cute name. They have all kinds of items that you can have personalized. I think monogrammed or personalized gifts are fun and thoughtful. If you get your girls Valentine’s gifts, these would be great options and you’ll need to get your order in with plenty of lead time to have the personalization done.

The 4th of July is just around the corner and that means lots of cookouts and backyard BBQ’s. There are so many fun outdoor games for July 4th, and you can order them on Amazon to get them in time. These would be fun to have set up in stations around your yard, or some of them could easily be carried to a park if you’re gathering there.

I’ve seen several of these in use at the beach as well. Big kids/young adults and even older adults sometimes enjoy having something to do when spending an entire day on the beach.

GIANT WOODEN YARD DICE – You can play two games with these giant dice. Yardzee or Yardkle. HAHAHA!

YARD DARTS – Not only are these yard darts, they glow in the dark. Now personally, by the time it gets dark during the summer we’re already in our jammies, but if you like to walk on the wild side, these are for you. LOL

YARD CONNECT FOUR – Did you have Connect Four as a kid? I did, and I loved it. I think this would be fun, and even the littles could play.

BADMINTON – This looks like such an easy way to play Badminton. This game has been around forever. This net doesn’t require spikes, and I think that would keep it from sagging.

LADDER TOSS – We bought one of these years ago for Katie’s graduation party. I had played it somewhere and it was a lot of fun. We will be pulling this out the next time we have a gathering.

HORSESHOES – I haven’t played horseshoes in years, but I used to love it. Most kids these days have probably never heard of it. Let’s bring it back.

BOCCE BALL – The only time I’ve played this was at an Italian restaurant, but it was a lot of fun.

GIANT JENGA – Not gonna’ lie, this one scares me a little. We went to a party with a reallly giant one, and I was terrified it would fall on someone. I think this one is a slightly smaller scale, so probably a lot safer.

CORN HOLE – This is a crowd pleaser, and I see a lot of people who take them (in a wagon) out on the beach to play. Little kids love playing with the bean bags for this one.

Check out this post with red, white and blue looks to go with your new outdoor games for July 4th.

Or this post has more red, white and blue all American summer style that would be fantastic for the 4th.

Have you signed up for my newsletters yet? You can do it at the bottom of this page. On Monday’s I share last weeks top 6 sellers, and on Friday’s there is a complete list of sales. There are usually things included in the newsletter for subscribers that don’t appear on the blog.😉 It’s kind of like Instagram. I share things all week long in stories and on the grid that don’t necessarily make it here.

Have a wonderful Monday!!!!

  • I have that same first set in blue and I love it. The button detail on the sleeve is fun.. but I did find that both pieces shrunk slightly after washing.

  • I have that green set in black and I LOVE it! I actually have even worn it wth tall boots underneath to work and it looked so cute. Still struggle with these sets being almost too short for me but I'm determined to wear them!
