What I’ve Worn Lately

I haven’t done a round up what I’ve worn lately in ages, so this seemed like a fun thing to do. Just in case you haven’t heard, we’ve been snowed in this week. On Monday we got 8″ of snow. Highly unusual for Nashville, so the city has been somewhat crippled. I left the house yesterday to go to the gym, and it was my first time out since Sunday.

The anticipation of snow is exciting. Don’t you think? It’s beautiful…until it’s not. In MN once it got nasty from the dirt it was referred to an snirt. We found that to be very amusing. HA!

Now on to what I’ve worn lately….

I have been wearing these pieces A LOT. The pants are cashmere blend, so comfy and fit great. The hoodie is a cashmere blend too, and oh my goodness it’s so soft. The puffer is a faux leather, and it’s…you guessed it, GREAT. I love it. All three pieces are on sale right now,

Let me mention my cell phone case. It’s a Walli case and these cases are my all time favorite. I have a code, COAST10 for 10% off. There is also a pocket where you can put your driver’s license or a credit card. I love this for when I run to the store after the gym.

This is what I wore to church last Sunday. The pants I shared on Instagram yesterday in a Chico’s post. I LOVE them. They’re actually a coated denim, that looks like faux leather. They’re super comfortable, and I think you could easily put a cute sweatshirt with them and sneakers for a fun sporty look.

The sweater is from last year, still in stock and 50% off. It’s been a favorite of mine. It’s soft, and I adore the fair isle style.

This sweater just released at Gibsonlook and it’s a favorite. I had it last year in an oatmeal color and I wore it all the time. I’m thrilled to have a new color. This material works perfectly for 3 seasons.

The joggers are also from Gibsonlook, and they’re a cargo style. Super cute and a fun take a jogger. They fit great, especially for those of us on the petite side. You can use LISA10 on both of these.

Wednesday I flipped my guest room and office, and this is what I wore. It was comfy, cozy and warm, and with the weather we’ve been having that’s all I want to wear. The leggings are fleece lined and they are one of my favorite Amazon brands. The sweatshirt is also from Amazon, and I have it in three colors. It’s a fan favorite.

This is a new release sweater from Avara’s Valentine’s collection and it’s as soft as the softest baby sweater. I’m not a huge “in your face” holiday dresser, but this is super cute. These are new releases from Spanx and when I tried them on, I left them on! The leggings are my ALL TIME FAVORITE Booty Boost. These are the only leggings I wear to the gym. (These are a good dupe for them though if you want a more affordable option).

The striped top is long sleeve with a boatneck and I always love a good stripe. It and the pullover are both AirEssentials pieces and you have to feel the fabric to believe the softness. Use LISAXSPANX on all of these.

Wish me luck…we’re supposed to get rain and sleet and the temperatures are going back down in the teens and single digits. Stay warm friends.

The 4th of July is just around the corner and that means lots of cookouts and backyard BBQ’s. There are so many fun outdoor games for July 4th, and you can order them on Amazon to get them in time. These would be fun to have set up in stations around your yard, or some of them could easily be carried to a park if you’re gathering there.

I’ve seen several of these in use at the beach as well. Big kids/young adults and even older adults sometimes enjoy having something to do when spending an entire day on the beach.

GIANT WOODEN YARD DICE – You can play two games with these giant dice. Yardzee or Yardkle. HAHAHA!

YARD DARTS – Not only are these yard darts, they glow in the dark. Now personally, by the time it gets dark during the summer we’re already in our jammies, but if you like to walk on the wild side, these are for you. LOL

YARD CONNECT FOUR – Did you have Connect Four as a kid? I did, and I loved it. I think this would be fun, and even the littles could play.

BADMINTON – This looks like such an easy way to play Badminton. This game has been around forever. This net doesn’t require spikes, and I think that would keep it from sagging.

LADDER TOSS – We bought one of these years ago for Katie’s graduation party. I had played it somewhere and it was a lot of fun. We will be pulling this out the next time we have a gathering.

HORSESHOES – I haven’t played horseshoes in years, but I used to love it. Most kids these days have probably never heard of it. Let’s bring it back.

BOCCE BALL – The only time I’ve played this was at an Italian restaurant, but it was a lot of fun.

GIANT JENGA – Not gonna’ lie, this one scares me a little. We went to a party with a reallly giant one, and I was terrified it would fall on someone. I think this one is a slightly smaller scale, so probably a lot safer.

CORN HOLE – This is a crowd pleaser, and I see a lot of people who take them (in a wagon) out on the beach to play. Little kids love playing with the bean bags for this one.
