Anthropologie is in the LTK sale, and that means you get 20% off your order of $100+. What is the LTK sale? It’s a sale that technically you can only access within the LTK app, but I’ve cracked the code.😉 You’ll have access to discounts on some of the top retailers. For Anthropologie you can use the code ANTHRO20 with one of my links in this post and receive the discount.
In case you don’t know about LTK, let me give you a crash course. If you like to shop, you really should have this app. I know, I know. A lot of people don’t want one more app, but this one is so handy. It’s where your favorite creators, like me 😉, post our favorite finds and deals every day. You can follow me here. It’s kind of like a fashion Instagram or Facebook…without all the nonsense. You can find info on sales and outfit ideas, home decor, gift guides, and really anything related to retail. You can scroll the LTK app and when you see something you like, you’ll find all the related items listed under it to shop. You can favorite posts, and LTK will send you an email when those things go on sale. Seriously, it’s so handy.
I went into Anthro the other day to do some try-ons. Let me start by saying the lighting in their dressing rooms is horrible…the clothing is darling.
Let’s start with these pants. I love, love, love a pair of olive pants. These are called a slim crop, and they go with so many things. Olive is a neutral after all. I’m never sure when I try on pants how they’ll fit, but these were super cute. I have on my normal 28 and they fit like a glove.
CHAMBRAY TOP – A closet staple that never goes out of style. This is from the brand Cloth and Stone and the fabric is slightly thicker than chambray and super soft. I love the light wash, and it would be a fantastic layering piece.
1/2 ZIP SWEATER – Open weave sweaters are really trending right now, and I love them. This one has side slits that make it hang well, the length is great, and the collar is a nice detail.
PEPLUM SWING TOP – When I saw this one, I think I had hearts in my eyes, and when I tried it on I definitely had hearts in my eyes. It is absolutely darling and it looks great with these olive pants, but you’ll see in a minute that it also looks great with jeans. It would be so cute with white pants or white jeans, denim shorts, navy pants…I could go on and on. The color says LILAC, but I thought it was BLUSH.
Mother jeans are what you might consider iconic. They’re one of the top brands for designer denim. It took me a long time to finally try them and buy them, and there’s no going back. Funny enough, I actually got my first pair last winter during the LTK sale. I have this pair of flares, this pair of straight leg, and now I’m probably going to order this pair during this sale. I wear my normal size 28, but they’ve stretched some so I’m going to order 27 and 28 to decide between. I highly recommend doing that when you’re in doubt about a size. It’s better to get both while they’re on sale than to have to fool with exchanging. Plus I like being able to try on both sizes at the same time. I also wanted to note that on the website they say “fray” in the description, but they are not a raw hem, they have a traditional hemmed bottom.
STRIPED SHIRT – This is a fun take on a classic button up shirt. It’s got this fun twish at the front and the different stripe patterns. You could tuck it in for workwear, or wear it with leggings.
COLLARED SWEATER – This is a super sweet sweater, and it also comes in green. You can wear it buttoned or open over a tank or sundress.
PUFF SLEEVE EMBROIDERED – This is adorable! It has so many cute details from embroidery to puff sleeves.
The Somerset dress is probably the most popular dress at Anthropologie, and one of the most replicated styles by other brands. It’s been around for years, and I don’t foresee it gong anywhere any time soon. I love it and it comes in lots of prints, a shorter version, an eyelet version, pull on pants, a collared shirt dress, a romper, a blouse, a jumpsuit, and even quite a few more options here. Needless to say, it’s P O P U L A R .
This is the cutest denim jacket. It’s like a denim Lady Jacket. It also comes in white.
Check out how cute the jacket is over this look.
These dresses are another Anthro staple and so cute. They come out with new colors and prints every season. Wear it with heels to dress it up, or put on some sneakers for cute run around look. I wear and XS in this dress.
The Collette pants are another Anthropologie staple. They are always on the website, and comes in a pretty big variety of styles, fabrics, and colors. The fabric these pants are made out of is so good. They’re honestly some of the most comfortable pants I’ve ever worn. You can dress them up or down. I do find they run different in the sizing. My black ones are a 27, but in other colors I’m a 28.
I spotted this super cute bag on the way out. It’s a nice smaller size, without being too small, has a crossbody strap and even though it’s not real leather, it’s extremely soft and seems like it. It also comes in other colors.
In case you’re wondering, the other brands in the sale are Aerie, American Eagle, The Styled Collective, Abercrombie & Fitch, Tarte, Urban Outfitters, Elf Cosmetics, Wrangler, Pura, and Vici. Just head over to the LTK app, and you’ll see a flag on posts that contain sale items, and access to the discount codes for checkout.
I also wanted to let you know that AVARA is having a 30% off sale this weekend for the time change on a lot of new spring pieces, including this dress and sweater. But a lot of the other things I’ve shared recently are included. You can click here to see all the items that are part of the sale.
The 4th of July is just around the corner and that means lots of cookouts and backyard BBQ’s. There are so many fun outdoor games for July 4th, and you can order them on Amazon to get them in time. These would be fun to have set up in stations around your yard, or some of them could easily be carried to a park if you’re gathering there.
I’ve seen several of these in use at the beach as well. Big kids/young adults and even older adults sometimes enjoy having something to do when spending an entire day on the beach.
GIANT WOODEN YARD DICE – You can play two games with these giant dice. Yardzee or Yardkle. HAHAHA!
YARD DARTS – Not only are these yard darts, they glow in the dark. Now personally, by the time it gets dark during the summer we’re already in our jammies, but if you like to walk on the wild side, these are for you. LOL
YARD CONNECT FOUR – Did you have Connect Four as a kid? I did, and I loved it. I think this would be fun, and even the littles could play.
BADMINTON – This looks like such an easy way to play Badminton. This game has been around forever. This net doesn’t require spikes, and I think that would keep it from sagging.
LADDER TOSS – We bought one of these years ago for Katie’s graduation party. I had played it somewhere and it was a lot of fun. We will be pulling this out the next time we have a gathering.
HORSESHOES – I haven’t played horseshoes in years, but I used to love it. Most kids these days have probably never heard of it. Let’s bring it back.
BOCCE BALL – The only time I’ve played this was at an Italian restaurant, but it was a lot of fun.
GIANT JENGA – Not gonna’ lie, this one scares me a little. We went to a party with a reallly giant one, and I was terrified it would fall on someone. I think this one is a slightly smaller scale, so probably a lot safer.
CORN HOLE – This is a crowd pleaser, and I see a lot of people who take them (in a wagon) out on the beach to play. Little kids love playing with the bean bags for this one.
Check out this post with red, white and blue looks to go with your new outdoor games for July 4th.
Or this post has more red, white and blue all American summer style that would be fantastic for the 4th.
