Madewell 25% off Sale for Insiders

Did you hear about the Madewell 25% off sale for Insiders? What’s an Insider, you ask? It’s basically just someone who signs up for an account. No credit cards are involved, and you get access to sales, free shipping and free returns. It’s a win-win. I signed up a long time ago just for the FREE shipping. I won’t order anything if it involves paying for shipping. HA!

I rounded up some things that I’m interested in and I thought maybe you would be too.

SMOCKED DRESS – It probably comes as no surprise I’d be interested in a smocked dress. This one is super cute, and a striped fabric called pistacio.

BLACK BAG – I was excited to see this bag. It looks like one I got in the fall from Chico’s, and I’m so happy to have one to link to for you.

BLUE DRESS – This is just a sweet dress. It looks much cuter on the model on the website than the hanger.

STRIPED DRESS – I loved this dress as soon as I saw it. I always love a shirt dress, and they’re so good for warmer days. You can wear a cute sandal, espadrille or sneaker with it.

STRIPED SHIRT – A navy and white striped shirt is always a good piece to have in your closet. Great alone or layered.

STRAW BAG – A straw bag for summer is another good piece to have. It’s called a “mini”, but it’s not too small.

HAT – I’m always on the lookout for a nice straw hat. This one would be cute paired with any of these other pieces.

WHITE JEANS – A pair of white jeans should definitely be in your rotation. These have a mid-rise, and that’s my favorite.

SWEATER – This sweater looks classic, and I always like investing in pieces that feel timeless, and will be wearable for years to come.

BLUE JEANS – You know I’m in love with the patch pocket trend. I loved it as soon as they started showing up in late winter. I have quite a few pairs. myself and love them.

BELT – Have you heard belts are making a come back? I’m on the hunt for one that’s about this width. Not too wide, and not too skinny.

RED SHOES – Red is really trending right now, and a really great way to add it is through accessories. These hit two trends, because of the ballet style. That’s another trend that’s cute right now.

BONE SHOES – These are the same as the red, but have the cute little studs on them. These work well with most silhouettes of jeans.

Are you interested in any of these? I think I’m going to place and order for a few and then I’ll share them with you.

The 4th of July is just around the corner and that means lots of cookouts and backyard BBQ’s. There are so many fun outdoor games for July 4th, and you can order them on Amazon to get them in time. These would be fun to have set up in stations around your yard, or some of them could easily be carried to a park if you’re gathering there.

I’ve seen several of these in use at the beach as well. Big kids/young adults and even older adults sometimes enjoy having something to do when spending an entire day on the beach.

GIANT WOODEN YARD DICE – You can play two games with these giant dice. Yardzee or Yardkle. HAHAHA!

YARD DARTS – Not only are these yard darts, they glow in the dark. Now personally, by the time it gets dark during the summer we’re already in our jammies, but if you like to walk on the wild side, these are for you. LOL

YARD CONNECT FOUR – Did you have Connect Four as a kid? I did, and I loved it. I think this would be fun, and even the littles could play.

BADMINTON – This looks like such an easy way to play Badminton. This game has been around forever. This net doesn’t require spikes, and I think that would keep it from sagging.

LADDER TOSS – We bought one of these years ago for Katie’s graduation party. I had played it somewhere and it was a lot of fun. We will be pulling this out the next time we have a gathering.

HORSESHOES – I haven’t played horseshoes in years, but I used to love it. Most kids these days have probably never heard of it. Let’s bring it back.

BOCCE BALL – The only time I’ve played this was at an Italian restaurant, but it was a lot of fun.

GIANT JENGA – Not gonna’ lie, this one scares me a little. We went to a party with a reallly giant one, and I was terrified it would fall on someone. I think this one is a slightly smaller scale, so probably a lot safer.

CORN HOLE – This is a crowd pleaser, and I see a lot of people who take them (in a wagon) out on the beach to play. Little kids love playing with the bean bags for this one.

Check out this post with red, white and blue looks to go with your new outdoor games for July 4th.

Or this post has more red, white and blue all American summer style that would be fantastic for the 4th.
