New Dress from Spanx

Right before we left on our trip last weekend, I got a new dress from Spanx. I couldn’t wait to wear it. You know I love all things Spanx and especially all things from the AirEssentials line. This is called a cinched t-shirt dress, but let me tell you, it’s better than any t-shirt you’ve ever worn. The fabric on all AirEssentials pieces is some of the softest I’ve ever felt.

NOTE: You can use my code LISAXSPANX on all regular priced items on the Spanx website. You can get free shipping and they offer free exchanges/returns.

I’m wearing a small in the dress, but I think I could wear an XS.

The dress comes in black, or the color I chose called powder. I already have a black AirEssentials skort and top that look so similar when worn together.

I chose turquoise jewelry, and it’s the perfect pop. I love wearing turquoise especially in summer. It pairs so well with so many colors and looks great with a tan.

The sandals I have worn so much this year. These and the pair above are my go to shoes for daily wear right now. They both work well if you have an issue like plantar fasciitis…which I’m currently dealing with. UGH.

The cute tote is actually an insulated bag, and works well for the pool, beach or keeping in the car when running errands to hold refrigerated items. You can use my code LISA10 for 10% off.

This dress is the perfect go anywhere, easy to wear, travel, lunch with friends, or even workwear when paired with a different shoe and a blazer. (a blazer is a magical way to turn a lot of looks into workwear. HA!)

The 4th of July is just around the corner and that means lots of cookouts and backyard BBQ’s. There are so many fun outdoor games for July 4th, and you can order them on Amazon to get them in time. These would be fun to have set up in stations around your yard, or some of them could easily be carried to a park if you’re gathering there.

I’ve seen several of these in use at the beach as well. Big kids/young adults and even older adults sometimes enjoy having something to do when spending an entire day on the beach.

GIANT WOODEN YARD DICE – You can play two games with these giant dice. Yardzee or Yardkle. HAHAHA!

YARD DARTS – Not only are these yard darts, they glow in the dark. Now personally, by the time it gets dark during the summer we’re already in our jammies, but if you like to walk on the wild side, these are for you. LOL

YARD CONNECT FOUR – Did you have Connect Four as a kid? I did, and I loved it. I think this would be fun, and even the littles could play.

BADMINTON – This looks like such an easy way to play Badminton. This game has been around forever. This net doesn’t require spikes, and I think that would keep it from sagging.

LADDER TOSS – We bought one of these years ago for Katie’s graduation party. I had played it somewhere and it was a lot of fun. We will be pulling this out the next time we have a gathering.

HORSESHOES – I haven’t played horseshoes in years, but I used to love it. Most kids these days have probably never heard of it. Let’s bring it back.

BOCCE BALL – The only time I’ve played this was at an Italian restaurant, but it was a lot of fun.

GIANT JENGA – Not gonna’ lie, this one scares me a little. We went to a party with a reallly giant one, and I was terrified it would fall on someone. I think this one is a slightly smaller scale, so probably a lot safer.

CORN HOLE – This is a crowd pleaser, and I see a lot of people who take them (in a wagon) out on the beach to play. Little kids love playing with the bean bags for this one.

Check out this post with red, white and blue looks to go with your new outdoor games for July 4th.

Or this post has more red, white and blue all American summer style that would be fantastic for the 4th.

Have you signed up for my newsletters yet? You can do it at the bottom of this page. On Monday’s I share last weeks top 6 sellers, and on Friday’s there is a complete list of sales. There are usually things included in the newsletter for subscribers that don’t appear on the blog.😉 It’s kind of like Instagram. I share things all week long in stories and on the grid that don’t necessarily make it here.

Have a wonderful Monday!!!!
