With all the sales going on this month, it’s like Black Friday in July. Personally, I find it a little overwhelming. It’s hard to know what to buy. Today I’m focusing on 3 of my favorite categories from the Nordstrom Sale, and a really good Jude Connally sale.
One of my favorite categories for the Nordstrom sale is HOME. All of these are great items to purchase, and many of them I already own from previous sales. The blankets make great gifts for kids going to college, or wedding gifts. The set of Staub bakeware and round marble/wood cutting board would also make fabulous wedding gifts. I have both of these and love them.
Another category I like to shop is the beauty section. It has many of the same things year after year. The Donna Karen deodorant has a cult following, and every year I put it in my cart…and take it out of my cart. Well this year I bought it. I have several friends who swear by it, and the reviews are good. Your girl needs a powerful deodorant, so I’ll put it to the test. HA!
This is also a good time to grab T3 hair appliances. The Hourglass powder and brush set is one of my favorite purchases from last year.
I cannot recommend the joggers enough. They are the first pair I ever purchased, and one of my all time favorites to this day! I’ve had mine for years and they still look great. The Spanx Booty Boost leggings are another of my all time favorites, and pretty much the only leggings I wear to the gym. The Spanx polo is such a versatile piece (looks great with the joggers and leggings) and I love the sport dress from Spanx too.
This is another sale that feels like Black Friday in July, and just might be even more exciting than the NSALE. Jude Connally is having a 25% off site wide Friends and Family sale. Just use my code FFLISA. Here’s the important thing to remember…you can only use my code ONCE, so if you want several pieces, order them all at the same time.
I adore this brand and I have quite a few dresses from them. I wear them a lot. They’re made well, fun prints and patterns, comfortable, and guaranteed to get compliments. These are just some of mine. I wear XS in most of them, but in the Alexandra dress (long t-shirt style) I wear a small.
There are three types of fabric I most often get. The Jude cloth is a stretchy almost bathing suit feeling fabric that is so soft to wear, doesn’t wrinkle, packs well and dries quickly. The long t-shirt style dress, and several of the others are this fabric. The poplin is what the pink/white stripe dress is and it also has a nice stretch and gives that traditional look. The cotton voile is what the two shift style dresses (1st & 3rd) are, and it’s a beautiful, soft, lightweight, breathable cotton.
All of the dresses below are made out of the Jude cloth.
See, I told you it’s like Black Friday in July. HA! Walmart has been having some huge sales and the flash sales look to be good through today. I found some great deals you might want to check out.
