We know a lady who wouldn’t let people see her after surgery until she had her lipstick on. (Mom, you know who I’m talking about?)
Well, I can actually relate to her a little or maybe a lot. Anyway, give me my coffee and lipstick and lets get Monday rolling.
We had a super subdued weekend. It was rainy and I wasn’t feeling 100%, so for the most part I spent the weekend curled up in the corner of the sofa and Kent just did his thing. Thankfully I’m feeling more like myself now and will catch up on things that need to be done around here.
This is one of the sweaters I had ordered from Nordstrom. I do love that it’s super soft. Y’all know I’m an absolute sucker when it comes to soft textures.
I didn’t love that it was a little snugger through the hips than I expected it would be so I’m not going to keep it. However, if you are more of a straight build and a little less “bootylicious” than I am you should definitely order it! I’d go up a size but the shoulders and top part would just be way too big.
See? So not flattering. I can’t tell you how sad I was this didn’t work out.
For those of you who were sweet enough to give me input on the other 2 choices…
The blush/heather grey tunic won out. Thanks so much for your input. I would love to keep them both as one person suggested and maybe when/if it goes on sale, I’ll splurge and get the burgundy one.

Without even thinking about it last week the day after my “Black and White” post I realized half way through the day what I had on. See, black and white are always on trend. My poncho is from last year but I’ve linked a couple of similar options. I really can’t say enough about these Wit & Wisdom jeans. They have the look of a basic jean, but the stretch is well, wonderful. They are comfortable but still have a structured look. ✔️✔️
Katie and I have been doing a lot of FaceTiming lately and I. LOVE. IT!!!!!
Ugg, I should have thought to grab a picture last night when we got to FaceTime with Benny and Erin (his girlfriend). It was kind of like a double date. LOL
It’s raining here AGAIN today, but I’m not complaining. Maybe with the amount of rain we’ve been having the last few months aside from officially being out of the drought, the hills will stay green longer. They are so pretty when they are green and set against the blue sky.
Here’s to a great week friends!
