Sunday morning I wore this super comfy black swing dress to church. I love this style of dress. I paired it with my Frye boots that I’ve declared my undying love for. I told Kent Sunday morning, I wish I had bought them years ago. #stopwaitingladies #buytheboots
Black swing dress / shorter version
I think the angle of this picture makes the dress look a tad longer than it really is, but I do like mine a little longer than some of the ones out there.

Now I know some of you aren’t necessarily on board with the choker trend, but there are a few outfits that I really like one with. Normally I’d have thrown on a long necklace, but this particular day I wanted to go for something a little different.
I ordered this black dress for Katie and had it sent to her at school and she said she really likes it. If I hadn’t already bought one for myself I’d have been tempted to try it too. I like the detail of the cutout at the neck.
dress / jacket / tights / boots / similar choker / choker option
It was chilly here in the morning so I added one of my favorite jean jackets.
This outfit will easily transition to spring just by changing the tights and boots out for some cute lace up flats or cheetah flats. (and maybe throw in some tanning cream for good measure?)
We’re half way to Friday. My week is zooming by, how about yours?

This black dress is adorable on you! I do love the choker with it, too! I got a couple of chokers last summer and I should try one with one of my black dresses sometime.
