What I Wore Wednesday #5

Hey y’all and hey Wednesday. Just a quick update…

We leave a week from today to go back to Nashville for Benny’s graduation.

INCREDIBLE!!!

It’s next to impossible to believe that at the beginning of June he will be working like a real “grown up”, paying his own way and no longer in school. Seriously, mind blowing!!!

Okay, now back to what I wore…

I actually haven’t worn this top yet because the goofy weather out here in California just won’t warm up. It’ll make a brief appearance and be almost warm and then play a nasty trick and go back to being in the 60’s and dreary. Lucky for me after graduation we are headed to the beach!

And everyone said “HOORAY”!!!!!

This cute little cold shoulder top will definitely be packed and ready for warmer days and nights. I don’t typically gravitate toward orange, but it’s just so warm and sunny looking that I couldn’t resist. Imagine it with tan skin? If orange isn’t for you though, your in luck because it’s also available in blank or white and BONUS, it’s on SALE.

 shirt / jeans / shoes

I love the lace detail at the top of this shirt. That combined with the cold shoulder cut outs make it a double trend winner. It’s super soft and will look just as cute with jean shorts as jeans or you could pair it with a cute pair of white or black capri’s to dress it up. I paired it with my frayed hem jeans (with built in sculpt, which I love❤️)  that I find myself grabbing probably more than I should. You know how when you get a new pair of jeans your old ones become the ugly step child and get demoted. Not to worry, I’m sure I’ll circle back to them.

I thought my lace up block heels would be fun paired with this little combo, but my leopard flats,  or new wedges would look equally as cute and of course my favorite leopard sandals with shorts will bring a real summer vibe.

I tried a front tuck but they really aren’t a short waisted girls friend. You taller girls could definitely do it.

I wear these bracelets from Kinsley Armelle almost daily. They are some of my favorite pieces to finish off my outfits. The stones, and beads are so pretty and I love the way they look combined and stacked. If you want to get some for yourself they have given me a code. Use Coasttocoast2 for 15% off your entire order. All of their pieces are very reasonably priced and would also be great for Mother’s Day.

Hope you’re having a great week!

Lisa

Also, what a great orange top! I found one that color at the thrift store during the colder weather, and I can't wait to wear it now that the weather is warming up.
