Don’t you just a love a dessert that’s both super easy and delicious? Yeah, me too! Being a good Southern girl means taking meals to people when they are sick, sad, or had baby. Our preacher and his wife had a baby Sunday and I’m taking dinner to them tonight and to another sweet friend who’s having some surgery tomorrow. Well of course I wouldn’t dream of showing up without a yummy dessert. When I was thinking about what to take this popped into my head. It’ll make you pucker up, but in a good way. A kiss the cook way.
Here’s what you’ll need.
Combine the sweetened condensed milk and lemonade concentrate until thoroughly combined.
Fold in Cool Whip.
Pour into ready made graham cracker crust or if you are an over achiever a homemade one. I doubled the recipe for two pies.
?Lemonade Freezer Pie?
1 can Sweetened Condensed Milk
1 small can frozen lemonade
1 8oz. Cool Whip
1 ready made graham cracker crust
Combine sweetened condensed milk and lemonade concentrate until thoroughly mixed.
Fold in cool whip and pour into crust.
Place in freezer 4 hours or over night.
Let slightly thaw before serving.
Garnish with whipped cream and lemon slices or zest if desired.
So you know what they say. When life give you lemons???, make lemonade freezer pie.
Happy Thursday friends!
Lisa

Love this! And how funny- the new recipe I made last night for family was a lemon themed one! Thanks for linking up!
So stinkin' easy. You know I'm a die-hard chocoholic, but this is "light" and yummy. I bet your family is thrilled you came to visit even more since you cook for them!!! Way to be a great guest. (I do that too?)
Yummy !!! Thanks for sharing the recipe :) I need this desert in my life !!!
You're welcome. Easy + delicious = WIN!!! Have a great day Tammy!!!
We call this Lemon Ice Box Pie here in Louisiana! And it's one of my favorite desserts in the summer. I can't believe this chocoholic girl just said that! Yum!!
YES! That's the proper name I'm sure. I was going on the fly. My friends daughter had made it once when we were visiting and I couldn't remember the right name...LOL. Go figure us chocolate girls would like a lemon dessert. Happy Thursday!
OH I hope that didn't sound sassy...I really did mean thanks!
Mmmmmmmmm...yet another dessert for me to try! I am going to make this over the weekend. My plan is to get all of this dessert stuff outta my system and then when school starts up I'll hit it hard and clean up my act completely. I've been doing some intermittent fasting and I really like it but you don't lose weight if you eat too many desserts and I'm guilty. I made the copycat Nothing Bundt Cake White Chocolate Raspberry cake not once but twice in the last week! In fact I just finished a piece after my clean food lunch. How's that for crazy?Alright confession over, lol!
BTW, I saw your instastory and your voice sounds EXACTLY as I expected, so sweet and southern!!!! So cool.
Hope you're having a fabulous almost Friday friend!
xo,
Kellyann
Ha! That sounds exactly like what I did on vacation. We ate with reckless abandon knowing we were going to start that bootcamp. That white chocolate raspberry cake sounds divine. So as part of the Faster Way program we are/were allowed to work a treat into our hard workout day which is Saturday. It's about an hour and a half and A LOT of leg work. Anyway, we workout, shower, eat a little lunch and head straight to the Nothing Bundt Cake store (sorry if I've already told you this). We each get a cake and sit right there in the car and eat it!!! How pathetic are we...LOL!!!! Love me some cake. Here's to the weekend being upon us. XOXO
Hahahahahahaha!! I would do the very same thing! Oh the stories I could tell you girl! Love it!
Hello this looks AH-MAZING. Totally pinning this and saving it. xoxo ERIN
Thanks Erin! It is really yummy and creamy and all things good! Thanks for commenting.
Great pie Lisa! Thanks for bringing us dinner and this tasty treat.
Glad you enjoyed it. Thanks for letting us love on precious Leah! Next time I'll make Carmelitas ;)
This looks SO good and super easy!! Thanks for sharing.
It's super similar to someone we knows favorite Key Lime ;) Have a great weekend! XO
