Hello and happy Friday!!!! Wow, it feels like forever since I’ve done a FF post. Technically I only missed one, but it sure seems like it’s been longer than 2 weeks. I thought it was only appropriate to share A BUNCH of pictures with y’all from the wedding. I mean after all, y’all have listened to me yammer on and on about it for so long, why not make let you look at all the fun pictures.?So this weeks Friday Favorites is the official Wedding Edition.
The entire weekend was absolutely perfect and not even a little rain could dampen our spirits.

The weekend kicked off with the most wonderful Bride’s Maid Brunch hosted by one of Debora’s friends.
The food was to-die-for and I’m going to try to get my hands on that quiche recipe. Katie said, “It was the best quiche I ever had, no offense, Mom”. None taken, I totally agree!

I was completely shocked when Katie asked to wear my dress from the bridal shower. I told her I was wearing gingham too and she didn’t even care. Takes me back to when she was little and we’d do the mother-daughter dress alike thing. Oh, and in case you’re curious, I left that dress with her.

Rehearsal dinner
The Rehearsal dinner was at Maggiano’s and was fantastic. The food was delicious and the company was phenomenal. Having all the people you love the most in one room is the perfect way to kick off a wedding weekend. I was so busy enjoying myself I forgot to take hardly any pictures.
I did grab one of the four of us when it was over and of course you know how I love my sweets, so I took a picture of my overindulgent dessert plate.
We had one of these “sweet” little gold boxes as a favor at each seat for the dinner. (I saved mine and enjoyed it while sitting in the airport waiting to head home.)
My friend, Elizabeth came over Saturday morning for a few minutes and brought her dog. All the girls immediately ran outside to great him. Murphy was super popular with the girls.
The girls looked darling in their little robes. You might remember I bought pink ones for myself and Debora. We were each waiting on the other to put hers on and never wore them…LOL

The venue was Marathon Motorworks. A really cool old building that used to be a car factory. There was so much natural light in the room that it made it really hard to get good pictures with a phone. I know the photographers shots will be much better. Oh, and on a side note, her sister was the lead photographer and hired an assistant to help. They took 4,000 pictures. ?I can’t wait to see them.

It’s so hard to believe all this was taking place this time last week. The weekend was so busy and flew by. We couldn’t have been any happier with how it all turned out. The kids have been in Miami all week on their honeymoon and we are anxiously awaiting their return home Sunday, and hopefully getting to hear all about it.
Thank you all for being so sweet and supportive during this special time and allowing me to share our celebration with you. Those of you who have already been through kids getting married know how wonderful it is and those who haven’t, well y’all have a lot to look forward to. I know this experience is totally different than it will be when Katie ties the knot (many years from now?).

Oh my goodness, I am speechless (of course that won’t stop me from writing an essay, lol). Everything was so beautiful! I loved the wedding venue and all the pictures. You and KT look like sisters (I say that all the time because it’s true). That gingham maxi is perfection on you!
The rehearsal dinner looked huge, what a fun night! I have never been to Maggiano’s but want to go. The one here is in the middle of tourist central and I hate that part of town but want to eat there. The bridesmaid’s luncheon was picture perfect and the food to die for! Y’all did it right! I am so happy it all went so well!

I haven’t been to Maggiano’s in forever, now I am craving it. I hope Autumn will want to match me someday, the two of you are so cute in those gingham dresses. I really love the dress you selected, it just looks like it was made for you. And, what a beautiful bride and groom! Erin seems like such a sweetheart! Thank you for sharing your search! I do love your first choice- it’s perfect! My son is getting married in 5 weeks and I’ve been on a similar search. I have an amazing purple dress I have never been photographed in that I sent to my DIL for approval. She said yes but it was the same color the bridesmaids were wearing. Then I decided I’d go traditional & choose a blue dress. You guessed it…the MOB chose a blue dress so that idea failed. I did the Nordstrom visit & have one in my closet as a contender. And I’m still looking….the dress in my closet is looking better every day but I’ll probably shop until the wedding day.
