Happy Tuesday friends! Can someone please tell me who thought it was a good idea to have the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale and Amazon Prime Day all in a 6 day period? Are you kidding me? #stopthemadness
So for those of us who shopped the #Nsale last week and have caught our breath, today is the day for all the Amazon Prime members to get their shop on. I gotta’ tell that I’m still kinda new to the Prime Day. This is my second year and maybe I’m just #aslowlearner but I have a hard time figuring out what I should be buying.
So just exactly what is Prime Day you ask?
“Amazon’s smorgasbord of deals — pretty much “Black Friday in July.” More than a million products will be discounted, but not all at the same time, and not all for the duration of the event. Some will be available only during certain hours, for example, while others may sell out”
Best I can tell there are new items on sale for a limited amount of time throughout the day. Well I don’t know about you, but I don’t have time to sit at my computer all day long and watch to see what’s on sale.
Having said that, I did gather a few things that you might want to add to your Amazon Cart today.

This Echo was my first Prime Day purchase last year and we have loved it. Some friends had one and they used it all the time, so I got one for Kent. We keep “her” downstairs and ask “Alexa” to play whatever music we’re feeling at the moment. We really need to figure out how to make the most of her and find new ways to use her.
After we got the ECHO and got hooked on being to play music on request I wanted one for our upstairs. I purchased an echo dot and keep it in our bathroom to listen to music when I’m getting ready or just doing things upstairs. It’s got a really good sound for such a small device and at this price you could stash them all over the house. I wish you could somehow hook them together almost like indoor speakers. If you know how to do that, please share.
WOW! This seems like a great deal and would make a great thing to have on hand for Christmas gifts.
I’ve been looking at one of these Ninja blenders for a while. My Kitchen Aid blender has about lived it’s life and I’m thinking this might be the heir apparent. For $50 there’s not much to lose. I think a VitaMix would be awesome, but I don’t use a blender frequently enough to justify that price and I think this is kinda like the cousin to it, so that’s close enough for me.
I keep seeing all this chatter about Air Fryers. If you’ve been thinking about getting one, this is probably the day to do it.
Here’s another one that I keep hearing about and do actually know a few people who have done some version of these. This is a great deal. $99, normally $299.

OH, and again being a newbie to this whole Prime Day thing, last night the 6 qt. InstantPots were like $50 and today they’re more than that, so I guess maybe it was a limited time offer? Some of these may be the same, so if you want it, GRAB it!

Nice picks Lisa! We have the Echo dot and use it all of the time. I know , I was thinking the same thing about Prime day and Nsale. I havent shopped either yet, I suppose I will window shop and see what i may need Friday when its open.

I haven't shopped Prime Day . My mom gave me her air fryer over the weekend because she got a new larger one (because you know clearly 2 retired people need a ginormous one but whatever). I should really get on there and hunt around. Or maybe I shouldn't! Ha!!!

I ordered the Echo Show and that was it for my Prime Shopping and it was half price a couple of days before the sale so I haven't really shopped the Prime Sale per say. As you said, I don't have the time nor do I care to browse for the deals all day long. Goodness! I'm about "saled" out at this point.

Great blender! That sale had me so mad the first day when the site was coo coo. Thank goodness it got fixed to snag all this goodness!

It was a little extra confusing shopping Prime Day this year because the site kept crashing! I did manage to get a couple of things though. :) I do think Amazon devices like you got are the best bets on Prime Day! It seems like the savings on those are more substantial!
