Woohoo for 3 day weekends! For Kent it’s a one day workweek since we are heading to Charleston Wednesday. Not a bad gig if you can get it. HA!
Hope you have some fun plans today. We have movie tickets to see Crazy Rich Asians this afternoon, and everyone I’ve talked to about it says it’s hilarious.
Being the first Monday of the month means it’s time to team up with the girls at The Blended Blog for TBB Asks and with fall being right upon us, what better questions that finding out how we like to do ‘cozy’.
Slippers: YES or NO?
YES! And FLIP-FLOPS in the summer. I’ve pretty much always worn shoes in the house, but I’ve also read that if you suffer with Plantar Fasciitis you shouldn’t go barefoot. I recently purchased these flip-flops that I wear primarily at home, but sometimes out and about.
What is your favorite blanket?
My new favorites are the ones I purchased during the Nordstrom sale. They are insanely soft and oh so cozy.
Think or Thick Pillow?
Definitely not thick, that makes my neck hurt. I found some really good down feather pillows at IKEA for $9.99. Great pillow, great deal.
Favorite Warm Beverage?
Well I do like a good PSL, but the calories keep me from drinking them. Last year a new Starbucks drink was introduced that I fell in love with. A Hazelnut Mocha Coconut Macchiato. That’s a mouthful and I gotta’ be honest, I can never remember the right name without looking at it on the menu board.
Robe: YES or NO?
YES! I have an actual robe I wear when I get out of the shower in the winter, but most of the time you’ll find me in one of my Barefoot Dreams sweaters in the morning, afternoon or evening. Talk about cozy.
Favorite Comfort Snack Food(s)?
Hmmm, this one is hard because nothing jumps out at me, but probably a cup of coffee with some little sweet treat mid-afternoon.
Movies or TV Series Binge?
Last winter I watched all of Scandal. I was pretty much addicted and I’d cycle through seasons of liking it and seasons of wanting to just quit, but I couldn’t give up. HA!
Actual PJ’s or Leggings?
Both! I love to wear leggings on days when I’m just hanging out at home, but I don’t like to sleep in them. I love sleeping in PJ’s, but the top always has to be a cami style or I melt…even if it’s freezing outside. Here are some of my favorite leggings.
If you’ve never tried the Soma leggings, you should. They were the first ones I purchased and I’ve been wearing them for years. So good, and a nice high waist band that smooths out all the spots. ?
Do you cozy up on the couch or a chair?
This corner of the sofa is my “perch” as Kent calls it. I love to snuggle in right here and of course that’s my favorite blanket in my latest favorite jammies.
Hoodie, T-shirt or Sweater?
Call me crazy, but I am not a fan of hoodies. I don’t like the way they pull back on me. Occasionally I wear t-shirts, but for the most part, I’m a sweater kind of girl. I particularly love a cozy, fleecy sweater like one of these…

LOVE! Yep I’ve got my corner of the couch too! Lol. Look how precious you look! Oh girl we saw CRA yesterday at a morning flick in the loungers, saved $5 and I drank a latte. So good. That hazelnut drink sounds great! Have fun and hope you enjoy the movie! xo

I’m like you, I have my lounge wear and then my pajamas and I don’t like to mix the two much. I think I am quickly becoming a person who had a pair of house shoes/flip flops. We have so much tile that when I am walking around all day it can be hard on your feet! I like to have slippers or flip flops on!
