It may be April 1st, but I’m not foolin’ y’all with this dress. It’s a great deal. Do we want to play the guessing game as to where it’s from or should I just spill the beans? Okay, I’ll just tell you. It’s a floral maxi dress from Target for under $30. I know, you’re not even surprised. These days I think the first guesses are Amazon or Target. LOL.
When I saw this one online I thought it was super cute and I wasn’t wrong. I love the ruffle at the bottom and the otherwise clean lines of the dress. It has adjustable straps, which are often hard to come by in dresses with straps and can make or break the fit. The back is smocked and it has a small tie. I would definitely say if you run between sizes to size up in this one. I’m wearing a small, but it was none too big.
I wish I’d had a cute pair of pink sandals to pair with it. I really want a pair of Tory Burch sandals in the makeup color and they would have looked better than these do. It was c-o-l-d when I was taking these pics, so I was just trying to get-er-done.
A pendant necklace is perfect with this neckline and then I could still put a pair of my favorite Nickel & Suede statement earrings with it, and it not be over kill. I’m am here to tell you that N&S earrings are what you’ll find me wearing on almost any day. They are so light and so cute. I was really worried they would be “too much” for me and I’m happy to report they definitely aren’t. They’re also a great conversation starter. I buy the medium size, but if you want to try them and are hesitant, just go with the small and ease your way in. I also added my stackable Kendra Scott bracelets. They are a set of 3 that can be worn together, separately or paired with other bracelets.
