Hi friends and happy Monday! I hope you had a lovely Easter yesterday. Easter is very different for us now that we don’t have any kids at home. They’re so far away we usually don’t get to be with them, but we are headed to see them this week, so we’re very excited. I am also very excited to be sharing this striped maxi dress that comes in under $30 with you today.
You might remember this dress from a few weeks ago. Well this striped dress is its fraternal twin. HA! Now hold on here ladies, because I’m going to have to “call out” our beloved Target. This dress says it’s on clearance. Insert audible eye roll here. I don’t know about you, but when I hear clearance, I’m thinking dirt cheap. Like at least 50% off. You know I love me some Target, but come one guys. Reducing a dress 5% and calling it “clearance” is a joke. I digress. Clearance or not, this dress is cute, still a good deal and in stock in all sizes.
Let me just remind you of a few things to love about this dress. The back is smocked making it easy to fit many sizes. It has adjustable straps. Ding, ding, ding! That’s always a bonus, and it has a cute little tie at the back.
Maxi dresses are having a moment again this year. They were everywhere about 5 years ago, then kind of faded into the background (never leaving), but they’ve managed to push their way back to the front. This one would be perfect for so many occasions from a beach vacation to a date night, girls night or bridal shower. You could also easily throw a denim jacket on for cooler temps or just a cute look.

This is such a great maxi dress – I love the cut and the smocking in the back is great. I wish it came in different colors. I know what you mean about “clearance” in Target’s eyes – ugh, not my definition of clearance either! You look stunning my friend!

You know why I adore this dress so much Lisa (besides the fact that it looks amazing on you?). I love that if and when you wouldn’t want it as a maxi anymore, you could easily take off that bottom panel and have a shorter dress!!

Love the dress! I know exactly what you mean about Target clearance. Many years ago, I loved shopping the Target endcaps and finding 75% off bargains.
