Hi friends! It’s Friday and you know what that means. It’s time for Friday favorites. I hope you’ve had a great week. For me it sure feels like a lot longer than a week ago that we were on our vacation. I’m ready to go back! I’m linking up with the usual suspects to share all the things that made us happy this week.
I decided to branch out and try a new primer. I love my Avon Magix, but every so often I just want to see if there’s anything out there I might find more effective. So far I like it. It does a really nice job of mattifying my T-zone. I’m giving it ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. I’d do 5, but it doesn’t contain SPF.?
The same goes for dry shampoo. I’d been using Batiste for a while and ran across this Hask dry shampoo and figured what the heck. I’d give it a whirl. Once again, I like it. Of course I’m not exactly an expert on dry shampoos and use them more freshening up, but it seems to do the trick. The Hask comes in a variety of kinds from volumizing to charcoal purifying to Biotin thickening. And just in case you noticed the St. Tropez face mist in the background…it’s good!!!

A couple of weeks ago Andrea (Momfessionals) shared a new nail polish she was obsessed with and dag-on-it if I didn’t feel the same way. Stupid as it may sound, I couldn’t stop thinking about it, so I finally bought it this week. It’s called Toned Down, the perfect gray/blue/purple depending on the light.
Well it’s taken a sweet forever, but my Nordstrom sale boxes have finally started rolling in. The website may not have crashed this year, but it sure has taken long enough for stuff to ship. Not to be a Debbie Downer, but as my brother says, “it is what it is”.
Two of the things I’ve received are these Zella leggings and Zella tank. Not gonna’ lie…I love both of them. The leggings are 7/8 which means they are a great length for my short legs. They have a pocket on the outside of both thighs where you could stick a credit card or maybe even your phone. Of course you won’t want to work out with your phone on your leg. The tank is awesome too. I bought my first Zella tank a while back and it quickly moved to the front of the line. This one will be doing the same thing. It has a little bit of a low back with a bar across it and is just adorable. I wear a medium in both of these. I don’t like my workout clothes to be tight.
