Hey y’all and happy Monday to you! Tomorrow is the first Tuesday of the month, and you know what that means, right? Time to join Tanya’s Amazon Prime link up, and share my September Amazon Prime purchases. Like I’ve told y’all before, if you want me to read something, slap the word Amazon in front of it, and I’m there. Hmm…if only that would work on men. Am I right? HA!
I’ve been trying to control the impulses I have to buy ALL. THE. TIE. DYE. Honestly, I was starting to feel like I might need some kind of support group. “Hi, I’m Lisa, and I can’t stop buying tie-dye.”
I did make a recent exception with this tie dye tunic. I mean, how could I not? It’s like a traditional brightly colored tie-dye and so fun. It’s all kinds of soft, long in length, and has a fun neckline that can be worn all sassy off one shoulder. I got a medium so it would be oversized. On a side note, I look like a little pixie next to the picture of the model. LOL
Funny story with this puzzle. When we were leaving our beach vacation, we flew out of Pensacola. The airport is small, and of course with Covid, it was super slow. When we checked our luggage, the girls working at the ticket counter were working on this puzzle between customers. We thought it was hilarious, but I was also so intrigued with the puzzle. I was super excited when my friend Holly found it on Amazon, and it took me about a nanosecond to “add to cart”. I’ve put it up until the kids are here for the holidays. Hopefully I can get the girls to do it with me.
I ordered these earbuds when my first pair crapped out. #sorrymom They worked well, and I loved that they showed the charge amount on the front, but I decided I’d rather go ahead and just get the Apple Airpods (on sale 15% off) for my birthday. I got them early, and I’m loving them, but if you aren’t ready to invest that much, these are a good alternative.
I added a couple of new pieces of “equipment” to my exercise arsenal. When I was a kid, I loved jumping rope. It was probably the one athletic thing I was good at. #sadlynotkidding This is a super lightweight, and cheap jump rope, but it gets the job done. The resistance bands are just plain pretty, and one of Katie’s had broken, so I gave her my other ones and got these.
I finally did it! I bought a felt hat, and I think it’s cute as all get out. If you’re a regular, you probably saw it in this post. Now, if I can just work up the nerve to wear it outside of the back yard. For the price, this hat is a steal of a deal and it comes in a bunch of colors.
This dress! This dress shows up all over the place, and with good reason. It’s all sorts of adorable. I’m going to do a post on it, so I’ll save those pictures for another post soon. The fabric is wonderful, soft, flowy, and it comes in a huge variety of colorful patterns.
Do you keep a waterproof mattress cover on your mattress? I do on all of ours, but this one for another reason. Our brother-in-law was diagnosed over a year ago with Rapid Onset Dementia, and had to be moved to a care facility. He is married to Kent’s sister, and so the responsibility of his care has fallen on Kent…long story. Sadly, things have progressed and we recently had to purchase a new mattress for him (he had a new one that was about a year old). This time we made sure to have a cover sent along…if you know what I mean.
You’ve likely seen both of these already, but I did get them in September so they had to be included. These are the best little tunics for leggings. I kept the camo, and sent back the snake. I also have it in white, and I’m contemplating black. Want to see how they look on me? Click here.
This next one falls under the category of “Fall Must Have”. Every woman needs a cute color block cardigan in her closet. Maybe even more than one…ahem. This one is super nice. The knit is soft, and nice quality, it fits well, the length is great, it comes in solids and stripes, and the price is good. Have I convinced you yet? You can see it on me, here.
I have a Dot in our bathroom, and I use it all the time. I’ve been thinking for a while I’d like a few more around the house, like in the laundry room. Well, they are having 2 for 1 sale on them, so I jumped on that.
And now for an AMAZON FAIL…
I ordered this dress, because I thought it was darling. I typically really like this brand, but when it came and I opened it, it felt like a pair of flame retardant kids pajamas. No thank you. I didn’t even try it on. Return to sender. I’m not really sure why you’d even make a dress out of this material, unless it was for a costume of some kind. #pebblesflintstone
Every single month I sit down to start this post, and I think I don’t have much to share, and every single month I find I bought more than I thought. Isn’t that the story of most of our lives?
Before you go, let me ask y’all a question. I usually type the content under the photos, but lately I’ve been trying it above. To me that always made sense, but it seemed like the majority of bloggers did it the other way. What do you think? Do you even care? LOL Today, I “wrote the words” and then “showed the things”. Do you have a preference?

I usually type the content under the picture, but either way works! That is so funny about the ticket agents working a puzzle. We’re flying soon for the first time since March…should be interesting. I have to admit I’m just a little nervous. Thanks (in advance) for linking up with Prime Purchases!

I feel like that puzzle would cause me nightmares, haha. I have a hard time letting go when I can’t find a certain piece.

I just got that color block cardi from Amazon, I need to style it soon and may take it on a weekend anniversary trip away with Brian. Oh gosh, I am so sorry to hear about your BIL’s early onset dementia, it is so sad when it happens at any time, but especially at a young age. We have a Sleep Number bed, so YES we have a mattress cover to protect that huge investment (ha!) from who knows what. LOL. That puzzle looks like it would make me dizzy! lol!
