Hi friends! Let me ask you a question. How do you feel about the color orange? I think it gets a bum rap. There seem to be a lot of ‘haters’ out there when it comes to this color. I am not one of them, I actually like wearing orange…even though I don’t do it that often, but I do like wearing orange in the fall. In the summer and spring I tend to gravitate towards orange’s cousin, coral.

This orange top from Cabi is a cross between a tee and lightweight sweater. It’s called a tee, but it’s so nicely made it deserves a better title. It’s the perfect top for early fall when it’s no longer hot, but not cold yet. It’s super soft and comfortable.

The stripes on the bottom are gray. It has a high low hem and is long enough in the front that you could wear it with leggings and a pleat on the back that makes it hang beautifully. I really think this would be such a good piece to have in your closet, because of the versatility.

While I paired it with white jeans and neutral booties, you could just as easily put it with blue, gray or black denim. You could also layer it over a white collared shirt or a cotton cami if you wanted a layer for a little more warmth when the temps dip, and it’s the perfect piece to put under a layer like a shacket or denim jacket, and you could easily tie a jacket around your waist for a cute look.

So if you haven’t been a fan of orange in the past, give it a try. Like Mikey, you might like it. #doyougetthatreference Maybe try adding it in in the form of a stripe, or accessory.
OH and by the way…don’t you just love S’mores? I do, and especially roasted marshmallows. #perfectfalltreat
I’ve gathered up some options if you want to try wearing orange this the fall.

I do like it, I do! I literally just got three new orange fall sweaters!. I just love that one on you! I think it’s perfect for fall as long as we don’t make it Halloween-ish, lol. I’m working on posts ahead of course and I just did one with an orange batwing sweater that I really like. May you have a beautiful start to your week! XO
I told the kids they couldn’t go to a school that had a team color of orange. I said I will not wear that gaudy orange. 😉 But give me a burnt orange and I am all for it!
I love orange in the Fall months – Sept, Oct, Nov. I agree with Andrea, though, I don’t go for it as a Halloween look. That sweater looks great on you and I love some of the other options you provided!
I love wearing orange in the fall and your top is so cute! Love it styled with white denim the neutral booties!
Jill – Doused in Pink
Orange gets a bad rap around Aggieland but it’s one of my favorites this time of year!
Well you’ve about convinced me… i don’t believe I have ONE THING ORANGE!!! LOL. Maybe I’ll start with something with only a touch of orange… because pretty sure it would clash with my orange hair I’m still trying to grow out!!!
I actually like orange anytime! Lol! These are all cute choices, and I love the Cabi tee with white jeans.
