Things I’ve Tried Recently

Hey friends!! Happy Friday to you. I’m home after spending 4 days with my mom and dad. It’s been fun seeing them again so quickly, even if the reason I came wasn’t the best. They’ve been sick and needed some help, so I flew in Saturday to lend a hand. As I packed my travel bag it gave me an idea for this post. Let’s look at some things I’ve tried recently and I’ll tell you my honest opinions on them.

Let me apologize in advance for the photos in this post. I had to go back in my stories and grab screenshots. It’s been that kind of week and I was just too tired last night to get up, and round all the things up for pictures.

It’s no secret I’m a huge fan of Liquid IV. I have several flavors that are my favorites and just added a new one into the mix. Concord Grape.

I received this last week before I left town and grabbed a packet to try. I was a little leery about how I’d feel about a grape drink, but I’m happy to report I liked it. This trip is the first time I’ve carried a water bottle…GASP. I know. Well my travel day out was going to be so long that I decided to bring one and use my Liquid IV in it. It was great. I had a 4 hour layover in Chicago, and I was able to sit, work and have my yummy water right by me. I’d gotten a cup of ice to pour in it, so my flavored water was nice and cold. I used it the whole time I was at my parents too, and it would keep my drinks cold overnight.

I was also sent the Cinnamon Roll Verb bars to try and they’re yummy too. I swear it’s like a cup of coffee and a tiny cinnamon roll all in one bite. These little bars have the same amount of caffeine as a shot of espresso, and only 90 calories, so they are the perfect afternoon pick me up or morning starter. I like to keep them stashed kind of everywhere. In my purse, tote, and car. That way when my wagon is draggin’, I can grab one and forge full speed ahead.
