Hi friends! It’s officially S P R I N G . That can only mean one thing. I’m doing the happy dance. HA! Is your weather as wacky as ours? Cold, hot, cold, hot….you know how it goes. Well I’ve got the perfect transition dress for this time of year. I wore it to church yesterday and just loved it. (And I just looked and it’s on sale😁)
I’ve started working with a boutique called Leela & Lavender and that’s where this little dress came from. I’ve got a code to share with you, so keep reading.😉 They have some really nice pieces and brands we love. I hope to do some more with them, and bring you some styles. I’ve got a couple of other pieces I’ll share soon.
I think one of the best ways to navigate the unpredictable temperatures this time of year is to have pieces you can style multiple ways. A prime example is a dress like this. On colder days, you can use things like booties to make them temperature appropriate, and I could have layered a denim jacket over it if it had been chillier. On warmer days you can swap out the booties for sandals.
If you look closely, you’ll see the cuffs of this dress are smocked. You know I’m crazy for smocking on all girls from newborn to adult. There is a sweet little ruffle at the neck, it’s tiered and it’s fully lined. A lining makes such a nice touch for a dress. I love it when you don’t have to worry about the see through factor.
I told you I had a code for the Leela & Lavender website and the perfect transition dress. You can use LLSTYLE for 20% off your order. (Spanx, Good American and Sorel are excluded)

Ours is mostly just cold with lots and lots of wind… but we do have that occasional nice day thrown in just to remind us that spring is on it’s way. What an adorable dress!

This dress is super cute! i was just saying on another blog that I’ve been seeing tiered dresses everywhere–and here we are! haha The pattern is fun, and it looks great on you! It’s still pretty chilly here (though it was high 70s last weekend, soooo), and I’m not emotionally prepared for dresses yet! 😀
