I have always been drawn to the color hot pink, but I don’t wear it all that frequently. I decided to get this blouse with the big ruffles in it, and love it. Honestly, it reminds me a little of my Jr. prom dress. You know back in the 80’s we loved us some big ruffles, big hair, and big shoulder pads. Ah, those were the days.
The bright pink looks so sharp with white, but it also works well with regular blue denim, or would look great with black, so it’s super versatile.
This is another darling ruffled top, and not only does it have the big ruffles at the shoulder, but also at the neck. There is also this cute trim on the ruffles at the shoulders. There’s just so much to love in the details.
I paired this with wide leg cropped jeans and loved the look. The sandals are new, comfortable and affordable.
I love this look with the lighter straight leg denim and heeled sandals. This pair of jeans is also from Avara and I find myself wearing them over and over. They denim is soft and stretchy and they are TTS. They have a very high waist that does stretch out after wear, but not to the point of falling down.

These are both so cute! I just got in a top with large ruffles at the shoulders like that yesterday and I'm still debating whether I want to keep it or not. Part of me thinks it's super cute and part of me thinks the ruffles are big and annoying (to wear).
I live in Dallas and Avara is very convenient to shop but they don't honor bloggers' codes in store. The styles are super cute and everything I've bought has held up really well.
