Spring to Summer Maxi Dress

Hi friends! Happy Friday! I hope you had a good week. Mine was really pretty good and I’m super excited that my friend Kellyann is coming in tonight to spend the weekend. Katie’s going to be gone, and we will have the run of the house. #midlifersgonewild HA! I’ve got this beautiful spring to summer maxi dress from Avara to share with you today. It is just so cute, and it comes in quite a few colors if lavender isn’t your favorite color.

So before we get too far, I have to say these photos were so fun to take. Katie did the photography and we found this beautiful tent with the lights. I think if we’d been about an hour later, they would have been even more magical.

I think most every girl likes a twirl factor. Remember when you were little twirling in a circle to make your dress fly out? There’s a little girl inside us all, and I still enjoy a good twirl from time to time.

Can we also talk about my “tan”? I’ve been preaching about my Loving Tan tanning mousse for 2 years. If you haven’t got a tanning product you love, then please try this one. It works best if you apply with a mitt and I like this one.

You know I’m a sucker for a bow. I honestly love all the girly details from smocking to bows. Can you just imagine when I get a little granddaughter? Kent says he’s never going to be able to retire. LOL Anyway, the back of this dress closes with a bow that is functional. It’s so sweet. Look and the bow and the ruffle shoulders. I love it. This dress is also fully lined and has pockets. What more could we ask for?
