Amazon dresses come in a range of quality and prices. I’ve got 5 dresses today that are super reasonably priced, while all being great quality. Part of my job is to “vet” your purchases and take out the guesswork. With Amazon, we all know there are a lot of diamonds on there, but there’s also a lot fakes. 😉
I have been looking at this dress forever. I adore the color and pattern, the flowy feel and over look. It screams take me in vacation. You can wear it as a dress or throw on over a swimsuit. It comes in a lot of solids and a few other prints
A shirt dress never seems to go out of style. I had ordered this in hot pink and loved it, but it was too big. This one is an X-small and fit perfectly. The fabric is soft and flowy, but not flimsy. Quite a few solids and maybe a print or two
When it’s hot, the last thing I want is to have on heavy, confining clothes. This little dress is such an easy style to wear. It’s also another one that could double as a swim cover. The fabric is light, but like the shirt dress not flimsy. There are several color options to choose from.
I adore this tired maxi and when you feel it, you’ll think for sure it’s from boutique. I thought I ordered an XS, but mistakenly put a small in my cart, so it’s a little too big. There are so many color options, along with some eyelet and prints. The buttons are adjustable for easy fit
I LOVED this black ribbed knit maxi. The fabric is a perfect weight and the fit is semi-form fitting while still being forgiving. You know anytime I wear anything that sits close to the body, I wear a little insurance under to provide smoothness. This is a perfect layer for that.

The 4th of July is just around the corner and that means lots of cookouts and backyard BBQ’s. There are so many fun outdoor games for July 4th, and you can order them on Amazon to get them in time. These would be fun to have set up in stations around your yard, or some of them could easily be carried to a park if you’re gathering there.
I’ve seen several of these in use at the beach as well. Big kids/young adults and even older adults sometimes enjoy having something to do when spending an entire day on the beach.
GIANT WOODEN YARD DICE – You can play two games with these giant dice. Yardzee or Yardkle. HAHAHA!
YARD DARTS – Not only are these yard darts, they glow in the dark. Now personally, by the time it gets dark during the summer we’re already in our jammies, but if you like to walk on the wild side, these are for you. LOL
YARD CONNECT FOUR – Did you have Connect Four as a kid? I did, and I loved it. I think this would be fun, and even the littles could play.
BADMINTON – This looks like such an easy way to play Badminton. This game has been around forever. This net doesn’t require spikes, and I think that would keep it from sagging.
LADDER TOSS – We bought one of these years ago for Katie’s graduation party. I had played it somewhere and it was a lot of fun. We will be pulling this out the next time we have a gathering.
HORSESHOES – I haven’t played horseshoes in years, but I used to love it. Most kids these days have probably never heard of it. Let’s bring it back.
BOCCE BALL – The only time I’ve played this was at an Italian restaurant, but it was a lot of fun.
GIANT JENGA – Not gonna’ lie, this one scares me a little. We went to a party with a reallly giant one, and I was terrified it would fall on someone. I think this one is a slightly smaller scale, so probably a lot safer.
CORN HOLE – This is a crowd pleaser, and I see a lot of people who take them (in a wagon) out on the beach to play. Little kids love playing with the bean bags for this one.
Check out this post with red, white and blue looks to go with your new outdoor games for July 4th.
Or this post has more red, white and blue all American summer style that would be fantastic for the 4th.

There are usually things included in the newsletter for subscribers that don’t appear on the blog.😉 It’s kind of like Instagram.
