Hi friends! I stopped in Loft the other day and found so many cute things I couldn’t keep from doing an early summer Loft try on. I came home with a cute top, but I was tempted by several other pieces. Let me know in the comments if you can guess which top I purchased.
Loft dress
Green has always been my favorite color, and I’m loving that it’s mainstream fashion right now. There are so many beautiful shades to choose from, but I’m partial to this beautiful soft yet bright green. This is a super cute sundress, that is bra strap friendly.
Loft tops
These are such cute separates. The top is very similar to this one I purchased earlier this spring. Here are three ways to wear these, but I can think of a lot of other options too. White jeans or cut off short would be cute with the top or the sleeveless sweater. The sweater has a scalloped bottom that’s so sweet. you could also put a solid top with the skirt, or a plain white t-shirt.
*The jeans I’m wearing are old. I forgot to grab a pair when I was going back to the fitting room.
TOP || SKIRT || SWEATER || SANDALS || BRACELET
This top has one of my favorite color combinations. Pinks and oranges. The sleeves have a smocked cuff that’s darling. Just imagine this with white jeans, white shorts or white or black pants for work wear.
These tops are both super cute, and they’d be perfect for the 4th of July, but will also work all summer long. The top with straps is bra friendly and the gingham has ruffles and pleating details that are so cute.
TOP || TOP || SANDALS || BRACELET
This top is so pretty. I love the soft pink and sweet print. It’s cute with jeans like I have it here or you could also pair it with white shorts or pants for workwear. This one runs big. I tried it on in several sizes and it ended up a 2P was the best fit.
Loft skirt
If you don’t like shorts, then a little skirt like this is just perfect. Even if you do like shorts, this is still a darling skirt and it pairs perfectly with the sleeveless sweater.

So did you figure out which top came home with me?
The 4th of July is just around the corner and that means lots of cookouts and backyard BBQ’s. There are so many fun outdoor games for July 4th, and you can order them on Amazon to get them in time. These would be fun to have set up in stations around your yard, or some of them could easily be carried to a park if you’re gathering there.
I’ve seen several of these in use at the beach as well. Big kids/young adults and even older adults sometimes enjoy having something to do when spending an entire day on the beach.
GIANT WOODEN YARD DICE – You can play two games with these giant dice. Yardzee or Yardkle. HAHAHA!
YARD DARTS – Not only are these yard darts, they glow in the dark. Now personally, by the time it gets dark during the summer we’re already in our jammies, but if you like to walk on the wild side, these are for you. LOL
YARD CONNECT FOUR – Did you have Connect Four as a kid? I did, and I loved it. I think this would be fun, and even the littles could play.
BADMINTON – This looks like such an easy way to play Badminton. This game has been around forever. This net doesn’t require spikes, and I think that would keep it from sagging.
LADDER TOSS – We bought one of these years ago for Katie’s graduation party. I had played it somewhere and it was a lot of fun. We will be pulling this out the next time we have a gathering.
HORSESHOES – I haven’t played horseshoes in years, but I used to love it. Most kids these days have probably never heard of it. Let’s bring it back.
BOCCE BALL – The only time I’ve played this was at an Italian restaurant, but it was a lot of fun.
GIANT JENGA – Not gonna’ lie, this one scares me a little. We went to a party with a reallly giant one, and I was terrified it would fall on someone. I think this one is a slightly smaller scale, so probably a lot safer.
CORN HOLE – This is a crowd pleaser, and I see a lot of people who take them (in a wagon) out on the beach to play. Little kids love playing with the bean bags for this one.
Check out this post with red, white and blue looks to go with your new outdoor games for July 4th.
Or this post has more red, white and blue all American summer style that would be fantastic for the 4th.
