We all have different definitions of affordable. I’ve found affordable handbags for summer in three categories, so whichever category your definition falls under, you will hopefully find a bag you like. They range in price from under $50, under $100, and over $100. There’s something for everyone, and so many cute styles.
There are a lot of handbag trends, and styles out there. Raffia bags are big for spring and summer, along with cane bags. There are all kinds of shapes and different sizes too that are suitable for every day, evening, special occasions, and vacations.
A bag is often what will take a look from drab to fab.
- Add a pop of color
- Carry a fun shape
- Use a bag with a fun trim or decoration
- Carry bags that are different textures
- Have bags of varying sizes
With so many price options, you can purchase fashion bags, and function bags. What’s the difference? A fashion bag will work as a focal point. A function bag can be a focal point, but also a bag to get the job done. A job like carrying computers, and work necessities.
SUMMER BAGS UNDER $50
SUMMER BAGS UNDER $100
SUMMER BAGS OVER $100
Every day I am amazed at the selection and quality of the, let’s call them “budget friendly bags” on Amazon. So many times they look like a bag you’d purchase in a high end boutique.
HELPFUL TIP:
My biggest hurdle is changing out my bags. I’m to be quite honest, lazy about it. One thing that is helpful though is to have a smaller pouch inside that holds small things like lip gloss, Advil, cash, etc…I can move from one baG to another. (I use the one that came with my naghedi bag) I also use this card holder as my wallet. I LOVE it. I can just grab it and throw it in a small bag with minimal space taken up, or I carry it whenever I go to the gym or a quick errand and forgo a bag all together.

Did any of these affordable handbags for summer peak your interest? Did you add to cart. There are several that I’m planning to add to mine.
The 4th of July is just around the corner and that means lots of cookouts and backyard BBQ’s. There are so many fun outdoor games for July 4th, and you can order them on Amazon to get them in time. These would be fun to have set up in stations around your yard, or some of them could easily be carried to a park if you’re gathering there.
I’ve seen several of these in use at the beach as well. Big kids/young adults and even older adults sometimes enjoy having something to do when spending an entire day on the beach.
GIANT WOODEN YARD DICE – You can play two games with these giant dice. Yardzee or Yardkle. HAHAHA!
YARD DARTS – Not only are these yard darts, they glow in the dark. Now personally, by the time it gets dark during the summer we’re already in our jammies, but if you like to walk on the wild side, these are for you. LOL
YARD CONNECT FOUR – Did you have Connect Four as a kid? I did, and I loved it. I think this would be fun, and even the littles could play.
BADMINTON – This looks like such an easy way to play Badminton. This game has been around forever. This net doesn’t require spikes, and I think that would keep it from sagging.
LADDER TOSS – We bought one of these years ago for Katie’s graduation party. I had played it somewhere and it was a lot of fun. We will be pulling this out the next time we have a gathering.
HORSESHOES – I haven’t played horseshoes in years, but I used to love it. Most kids these days have probably never heard of it. Let’s bring it back.
BOCCE BALL – The only time I’ve played this was at an Italian restaurant, but it was a lot of fun.
GIANT JENGA – Not gonna’ lie, this one scares me a little. We went to a party with a reallly giant one, and I was terrified it would fall on someone. I think this one is a slightly smaller scale, so probably a lot safer.
CORN HOLE – This is a crowd pleaser, and I see a lot of people who take them (in a wagon) out on the beach to play. Little kids love playing with the bean bags for this one.
Check out this post with red, white and blue looks to go with your new outdoor games for July 4th.
Or this post has more red, white and blue all American summer style that would be fantastic for the 4th.

There are usually things included in the newsletter for subscribers that don’t appear on the blog.😉 It’s kind of like Instagram.
