I went to the mall this week and checked out the new fall styles from Loft. You probably think in my line of work I go to the mall all the time, but the truth is I rarely go. HA! I’ve turned into an online shopper, and I’m guessing a lot of you are too. It’s so easy and convenient.
Loft is really good at making soft clothing, and that’s one thing I really love. I’m all about comfort and textures. I found some really cute pieces and they would all be good options for Thanksgiving. I would love to have them all, but I’d have change my clothes several times a day to wear them all. Makes me think about when you have babies and they have a closet full of clothes. You have to basically play dress-up with them to wear them all.
Plaid dress
This dress is so cute and so perfect for the holiday season. You can add a blazer (code LISA10) for warmth and wear it with heels or tights and boots. Wearing XS.
Smocked Maxi dress
This dress has one of my favorite things…smocking. You already know I love it. It’s a maxi dress and it’s long. It would be super cute with a pair of cream booties like these. (Code COAST15) Wearing size 4.
Plaid and faux leather
I think if you have any holiday parties to go to, then faux leather should be in the running. Add a pretty plaid, and you’ve got a great look. It’s sweet, but the leather makes it “cool” and modern.
Flares and 1/4 zip
This is the softest sweater. Seriously….the softest. Wear it alone, or layer over a turtleneck, flannel or chambray shirt. These flare jeans are a good option too. They’re long, but not too long. I think a western style bootie would work perfectly. (they look darker online)
Fair Isle Sweater
I pretty much fall in love with a Fair Isle sweater from Loft every year. Again…so soft. These are the same jeans and I should mention they’re a mid-rise. YAY!
Plaid flannel
This flannel is can you guess? Soft. I know. Shake my head, but I told you how I feel about soft textures. I love neutrals as much as I love softness. This one looks cute alone or layered under the sweater below. It would also be really cute with an off white sweater of some kind.
Boyfriend cardigan
This is a very oversized boyfriend cardigan. I have on an XS which is still plenty big. It’s soft and cozy and a wonderful layering piece as the temps get colder. It comes in several colors as does the flannel. There’s a red version that would be really cute for Christmas.
SHOP THESE NEW FALL STYLES FROM LOFT
WOW, I just looked back and I haven’t shared LOFT in quite a while, so it’s a great time to share some new fall styles.
The 4th of July is just around the corner and that means lots of cookouts and backyard BBQ’s. There are so many fun outdoor games for July 4th, and you can order them on Amazon to get them in time. These would be fun to have set up in stations around your yard, or some of them could easily be carried to a park if you’re gathering there.
I’ve seen several of these in use at the beach as well. Big kids/young adults and even older adults sometimes enjoy having something to do when spending an entire day on the beach.
GIANT WOODEN YARD DICE – You can play two games with these giant dice. Yardzee or Yardkle. HAHAHA!
YARD DARTS – Not only are these yard darts, they glow in the dark. Now personally, by the time it gets dark during the summer we’re already in our jammies, but if you like to walk on the wild side, these are for you. LOL
YARD CONNECT FOUR – Did you have Connect Four as a kid? I did, and I loved it. I think this would be fun, and even the littles could play.
BADMINTON – This looks like such an easy way to play Badminton. This game has been around forever. This net doesn’t require spikes, and I think that would keep it from sagging.
LADDER TOSS – We bought one of these years ago for Katie’s graduation party. I had played it somewhere and it was a lot of fun. We will be pulling this out the next time we have a gathering.
HORSESHOES – I haven’t played horseshoes in years, but I used to love it. Most kids these days have probably never heard of it. Let’s bring it back.
BOCCE BALL – The only time I’ve played this was at an Italian restaurant, but it was a lot of fun.
GIANT JENGA – Not gonna’ lie, this one scares me a little. We went to a party with a reallly giant one, and I was terrified it would fall on someone. I think this one is a slightly smaller scale, so probably a lot safer.
CORN HOLE – This is a crowd pleaser, and I see a lot of people who take them (in a wagon) out on the beach to play. Little kids love playing with the bean bags for this one.
Check out this post with red, white and blue looks to go with your new outdoor games for July 4th.
Or this post has more red, white and blue all American summer style that would be fantastic for the 4th.
Have you signed up for my newsletters yet? You can do it at the bottom of this page. On Monday’s I share last weeks top 6 sellers, and on Friday’s there is a complete list of sales. There are usually things included in the newsletter for subscribers that don’t appear on the blog.😉 It’s kind of like Instagram. I share things all week long in stories and on the grid that don’t necessarily make it here.
Have a wonderful Monday!!!!

I am going to check out those mid-rise jeans. I wish all retailers would offer a variety of rises, not everyone can wear a high-rise. Thank you so much for showing items from Loft. They are a go-to retailer for me because they have a large petite collection.

All great looks. I picked up a similar Fair Isle last year at Loft for a steal. Haven’t been into our store in a while. Clearly, I need to get my bootie over there. Love the bf cardi and pinned that maxi dress.
