The countdown is on and it’s time to finds some gifts that mom will LOVE! I got you! Almost every single one of these I currently own, and the others I’m thinking I’ll tell my family about. They’ve already been asking what do I want for Christmas? I know I’m a H U G E challenge for them to shop for.
GIFTS THAT MOM WILL LOVE
GINGERBREAD HOUSE || LEMON || PINEAPPLE || PLATTER – These are all from a brand called Nora Fleming that I have loved for years. The concept is adorable. You purchase serving pieces, and then the little minis that go on them for special occasions/seasons.
PERFUME – I just got this new fragrance last week. It’s a beautiful floral with “woody” notes…at least that’s how they describe it. I just think it smells pretty. I like CoCo Mademoiselle, Lancomé La Vie Este Belle, and Miss Dior for a reference to similar fragrances.
SILVER BAG – I just bought this for myself. I’m taking it on a trip to Dallas today. It will hold a lot and since metallics are so hot right now, I had to get in on that. I also have a code COAST20 if there isn’t a sale going on. YAY!
PAJAMAS – Okay, these pjs are new to me this year and they have quickly become my favorites, so much so I ordered another pair. I am not kidding when I tell you the fabric is magically soft. They’re cotton, but they must be woven by angels or something. I normally can’t sleep in any kind of sleep (thank you middle age life), but these feel so good and don’t make me break into a sweat.
WOVEN BAG – This is another new bag I purchased in late summer. I love the look, the style is popular and the size is perfect. It has a crossbody strap and comes with a cute woven bag that matches to go inside. I switch it between purses. Mine is the color ECRU.
BRACELET – I absolutely LOVE Julie Vos jewelry, and I’ve developed a collection of her pieces that I wear daily. They aren’t cheap, but they are beautiful, hold up so well, and are a lot less expensive than other popular brands. They will get noticed and complimented! Here is a sale collection page that would make great gifts too.
BLACK CROSSBODY – I’ve been carrying this bag A LOT. It’s so cute, lightweight and holds just enough. It’s divided into two compartments with a zipper section between. You can drop it in a larger bag when traveling, which is what I’ve been doing the last few trips I’ve traveled on.
RING – Another Julie Vos piece and one I wear several days a week. It’s a stunner.
SNEAKERS – One of my favorite overall shoes during the colder months. I wear these with everything from leggings, to jeans, to joggers and dresses. Very comfortable, super cute and they come in a lot of colors and designs
BRACELET – I got this bracelet back in the summer and I’ve have worn it almost everyday since receiving it, and ordered another one with smaller beads to pair with it. It’s a top seller and I get questions about it all the time. It also pairs beautifully with Julie Vos. Most days you’ll find me wearing it and the bracelet above together.
PHONE CASE – The Walli phone cases are my FAVORITE. I’ve used pop sockets and Loopy cases, and hands down, the Walli is the best. You can remove the back part where you hold it (while keeping it attached) so you can put it in a phone holder or tripod. Mine is the “magnetic case” which is also compatible with a wireless charger. Use code COAST10 for a discount.
I hope this gifts that mom will love post helped you with some ideas for yourself or your mom…or a sister or friend. There are all price points, so something for every budget.

The 4th of July is just around the corner and that means lots of cookouts and backyard BBQ’s. There are so many fun outdoor games for July 4th, and you can order them on Amazon to get them in time. These would be fun to have set up in stations around your yard, or some of them could easily be carried to a park if you’re gathering there.
I’ve seen several of these in use at the beach as well. Big kids/young adults and even older adults sometimes enjoy having something to do when spending an entire day on the beach.
GIANT WOODEN YARD DICE – You can play two games with these giant dice. Yardzee or Yardkle. HAHAHA!
YARD DARTS – Not only are these yard darts, they glow in the dark. Now personally, by the time it gets dark during the summer we’re already in our jammies, but if you like to walk on the wild side, these are for you. LOL
YARD CONNECT FOUR – Did you have Connect Four as a kid? I did, and I loved it. I think this would be fun, and even the littles could play.
BADMINTON – This looks like such an easy way to play Badminton. This game has been around forever. This net doesn’t require spikes, and I think that would keep it from sagging.
LADDER TOSS – We bought one of these years ago for Katie’s graduation party. I had played it somewhere and it was a lot of fun. We will be pulling this out the next time we have a gathering.
HORSESHOES – I haven’t played horseshoes in years, but I used to love it. Most kids these days have probably never heard of it. Let’s bring it back.
BOCCE BALL – The only time I’ve played this was at an Italian restaurant, but it was a lot of fun.
GIANT JENGA – Not gonna’ lie, this one scares me a little. We went to a party with a reallly giant one, and I was terrified it would fall on someone. I think this one is a slightly smaller scale, so probably a lot safer.
CORN HOLE – This is a crowd pleaser, and I see a lot of people who take them (in a wagon) out on the beach to play. Little kids love playing with the bean bags for this one.
Check out this post with red, white and blue looks to go with your new outdoor games for July 4th.
Or this post has more red, white and blue all American summer style that would be fantastic for the 4th.
Have you signed up for my newsletters yet? You can do it at the bottom of this page. On Monday’s I share last weeks top 6 sellers, and on Friday’s there is a complete list of sales. There are usually things included in the newsletter for subscribers that don’t appear on the blog.😉 It’s kind of like Instagram. I share things all week long in stories and on the grid that don’t necessarily make it here.

Love the tray with the minis. Thanks for the idea. If you have time while in Dallas, “uber” or take a ride out to the Christmas capital, Grapevine Texas. Have fun while visiting.

HELLO BLOG MOM!! 😀 Finally checking back into to the blogosphere, haha! Great suggestions! I think my mom actually has an iteration of that woven bag, just in a different color. I can’t even remember what I got her for Christmas–we’re at *that* stage of holiday madness, haha! (Luckily, I still have to wrap her gifts, so that will jog my memory!) Hope you and the fam are doing well! xoxo
