Feel the LOVE with AVARA’s New Collection

You can totally feel the LOVE with AVARA’s new collection for Valentine’s Day. One of my favorite colors is pink, and of course there’s no shortage of that…along with red. You might remember the dress I shared in this post last month. Well this neon pink is the same dress in a new color. I LOVE this bright pink. I think it looks good on almost everyone. It’s a beautiful silky feeling material and would work for church, showers, or wedding guest. I’m wearing a small.

As soon as I saw this sweatshirt, I knew I wanted it. It so cute, and the inside is extra soft. I thought the hearts were like a metallic iron on, but they’re actually tiny sequins. The cut is slightly boxy and a little shorter, and I love that style.

These jeans are also one of my most worn pairs right now. I love the light wash and the distressing, and they look cute with sneakers or flats/mules.

How cute is this sweater…and the jeans?! Front pockets are going to be a big trend for spring, and I for one am loving them. They have a fun retro vibe, and help camouflage your tummy. If you’re between sizes, I’d go with your smaller size. These are a 28, but I’m going to get the 27 to try. I think they’ll look better if they’re not so baggy in the tummy. The sweater is super soft and stretchy. It’s a new version of the Jackie sweater that comes in multiple colors.

There is so much to love here. I got a sneak peak of this top when I was at the Avara warehouse in December, and knew immediately I wanted it. So cute, and you can wear it from now until…well year round. Just add a blazer like Catherine and I did. These jeans! I love them. They are the brand RISEN, and I have quite a few pairs of this brand. They have great stretch, and fit well. I always size down in this brand. The front pockets are (as we’ve already discussed) on trend.

The 4th of July is just around the corner and that means lots of cookouts and backyard BBQ’s. There are so many fun outdoor games for July 4th, and you can order them on Amazon to get them in time. These would be fun to have set up in stations around your yard, or some of them could easily be carried to a park if you’re gathering there.

I’ve seen several of these in use at the beach as well. Big kids/young adults and even older adults sometimes enjoy having something to do when spending an entire day on the beach.

GIANT WOODEN YARD DICE – You can play two games with these giant dice. Yardzee or Yardkle. HAHAHA!

YARD DARTS – Not only are these yard darts, they glow in the dark. Now personally, by the time it gets dark during the summer we’re already in our jammies, but if you like to walk on the wild side, these are for you. LOL

YARD CONNECT FOUR – Did you have Connect Four as a kid? I did, and I loved it. I think this would be fun, and even the littles could play.

BADMINTON – This looks like such an easy way to play Badminton. This game has been around forever. This net doesn’t require spikes, and I think that would keep it from sagging.

LADDER TOSS – We bought one of these years ago for Katie’s graduation party. I had played it somewhere and it was a lot of fun. We will be pulling this out the next time we have a gathering.

HORSESHOES – I haven’t played horseshoes in years, but I used to love it. Most kids these days have probably never heard of it. Let’s bring it back.

BOCCE BALL – The only time I’ve played this was at an Italian restaurant, but it was a lot of fun.

GIANT JENGA – Not gonna’ lie, this one scares me a little. We went to a party with a reallly giant one, and I was terrified it would fall on someone. I think this one is a slightly smaller scale, so probably a lot safer.

CORN HOLE – This is a crowd pleaser, and I see a lot of people who take them (in a wagon) out on the beach to play. Little kids love playing with the bean bags for this one.
