New arrivals from Avara’s resort collection have dropped. Maybe it’s hard for you to think about this beautiful warm weather pieces, or maybe you’re headed on a cold reprieve and want some pretty new pieces to take with you. My code COAST15 has been reset and you can use it on your entire purchase. You can use it once every 90 days when I have it reset.
Avara knows how to do colors, prints and styles. Some of my most worn pieces in my closet are from Avara. If you need a pretty dress, then Avara is a great place to start. They have boutique brands that will be complimented over and over.
This dress is the Adelaide and it’s 100% cotton, but doesn’t wrinkle terribly, and the cotton is soft and flowy. I’m in a small and it fits perfectly. This print is also available in a cute blouse.
Both of these pieces are from Avara. The jeans are KUT from the cloth, and the denim is almost silky soft. I size down in KUT to a size 4, and most other women I know do too.
This blouse is all kinds of cute. It’s one of my favorite pieces from this post. While I like all of them, two are my definite faves. The cute is adorable, the embroidery beautiful, and the color is really trending for spring.
This blouse is super cute, and I’m always a sucker for a flutter sleeve. I wish I had a few of my blazers (code LISA10) here with me, because I have quite a few that will layer perfectly over this. The necklace is from a brand called Fairchild Baldwin.
This dress is my other favorite. I adore the style. It comes out every year, and other retailers will sell it for a much higher price. It’s fully lined and has pockets. It also comes in pink. The blue has a silver stripe that goes perfectly with my flats and silver tote. I realllly love this tote. You can use COAST20 on it if you want one too.
Which one…or two of these new arrivals from Avara’s resort collection are your favorite(s)? Do you have a winter getaway planned? I’m ready for spring and we’ve got a ways to go.
You can find all of my AVARA looks here in one place.
The 4th of July is just around the corner and that means lots of cookouts and backyard BBQ’s. There are so many fun outdoor games for July 4th, and you can order them on Amazon to get them in time. These would be fun to have set up in stations around your yard, or some of them could easily be carried to a park if you’re gathering there.
I’ve seen several of these in use at the beach as well. Big kids/young adults and even older adults sometimes enjoy having something to do when spending an entire day on the beach.
GIANT WOODEN YARD DICE – You can play two games with these giant dice. Yardzee or Yardkle. HAHAHA!
YARD DARTS – Not only are these yard darts, they glow in the dark. Now personally, by the time it gets dark during the summer we’re already in our jammies, but if you like to walk on the wild side, these are for you. LOL
YARD CONNECT FOUR – Did you have Connect Four as a kid? I did, and I loved it. I think this would be fun, and even the littles could play.
BADMINTON – This looks like such an easy way to play Badminton. This game has been around forever. This net doesn’t require spikes, and I think that would keep it from sagging.
LADDER TOSS – We bought one of these years ago for Katie’s graduation party. I had played it somewhere and it was a lot of fun. We will be pulling this out the next time we have a gathering.
HORSESHOES – I haven’t played horseshoes in years, but I used to love it. Most kids these days have probably never heard of it. Let’s bring it back.
BOCCE BALL – The only time I’ve played this was at an Italian restaurant, but it was a lot of fun.
GIANT JENGA – Not gonna’ lie, this one scares me a little. We went to a party with a reallly giant one, and I was terrified it would fall on someone. I think this one is a slightly smaller scale, so probably a lot safer.
CORN HOLE – This is a crowd pleaser, and I see a lot of people who take them (in a wagon) out on the beach to play. Little kids love playing with the bean bags for this one.
Check out this post with red, white and blue looks to go with your new outdoor games for July 4th.
Or this post has more red, white and blue all American summer style that would be fantastic for the 4th.
Have you signed up for my newsletters yet? You can do it at the bottom of this page. On Monday’s I share last weeks top 6 sellers, and on Friday’s there is a complete list of sales. There are usually things included in the newsletter for subscribers that don’t appear on the blog.😉 It’s kind of like Instagram.
