It’s been quite a while since I’ve shared what’s new at Loft. I was surprised when I looked back at just how long it had been since I’d done a Loft. I was in Loft a couple of weeks ago and tried on quite a few things. This is a good example of why following me on LTK and Instagram are both good ideas. These things have already been shared in both of those places. Of course if you are following there, then this will be old news. LOL.
As luck would have it, today is the last day of a 50% off sale at Loft and you can earn $25 Loft Cash for every $75 spent to use on a future purchase.
Sweater & Chinos
These pieces would make good closet staples. The chino style pants come back year after year, and the olive green is a great neutral. The sweater is super cute, and the crochet detail on the yoke lightens it up. I love the v-neck with a collar.
I’m wearing an XS sweater and size 6 pants.
Sweater & Jeans
Have you noticed all the details jeans have right now? There are so many options. This pair has a raw cropped flare hem, but the detail that makes them is the seam down the front. They’re really cute and fun. The sweater is a style that we’ve been seeing for several years and I don’t think it’s going anywhere anytime soon.
I’m wearing an XS sweater and 27 jeans.
Straight leg jeans
This is a pair of dark wash straight leg jeans. They are long, and since big cuffs are trending, I just turned them up for a fun look. One of the best things about denim right now is the way hems are raw, allowing you to cut them if needed, or if they’re too long, you can just put a bit cuff on them.
The top is a super soft, and cute short sleeve sweatshirt. It’s comfy and the color is perfect for spring.
I’m wearing a S top and 27 jeans.
Shirtdress
I have really developed a love for shirt dresses. This one has a little military feel, and of course you know I love the neutral olive color. This is the kind of dress you could throw on for many occasions. Wear it with mules, sandals or sneakers. I’m wearing a 4.
Ruffle Hem Dress
This is a cute dress and good for church, work or play. The belt is removable, so you can wear it straight or belted. Another fun thing in fashion right now is how sneakers can be worn with so many dresses, and this is one that a sneaker with gold on it would be super cute.
I’m wearing an XS.
Pleated Swing Dress
This is such a pretty print and color combination. Green is trending for spring and summer, and navy is always in style.
I’m wearing an XS.
Abstract Tiered Dress
I think this is one of the most fun and elegant prints I’ve seen, and the combination of the blues is so pretty. It’s hard to tell, but it has a tier at the waist. This would make a beautiful Easter dress,
I’m wearing an XS.
Puff Sleeve Midi
This dress is a cotton and the different colors of striped fabric are fun. The sleeves have an adjustable ruched tie. You can make them shorter or more elbow length.
I’m wearing an XS.
Tied Front Midi
This is a really pretty and elegant looking dress. The tie in the front is adjustable, and it has a side zipper. It runs really big.
I’m wearing a 2.
SHOP WHAT’S NEW AT LOFT HERE
The 4th of July is just around the corner and that means lots of cookouts and backyard BBQ’s. There are so many fun outdoor games for July 4th, and you can order them on Amazon to get them in time. These would be fun to have set up in stations around your yard, or some of them could easily be carried to a park if you’re gathering there.
I’ve seen several of these in use at the beach as well. Big kids/young adults and even older adults sometimes enjoy having something to do when spending an entire day on the beach.
GIANT WOODEN YARD DICE – You can play two games with these giant dice. Yardzee or Yardkle. HAHAHA!
YARD DARTS – Not only are these yard darts, they glow in the dark. Now personally, by the time it gets dark during the summer we’re already in our jammies, but if you like to walk on the wild side, these are for you. LOL
YARD CONNECT FOUR – Did you have Connect Four as a kid? I did, and I loved it. I think this would be fun, and even the littles could play.
BADMINTON – This looks like such an easy way to play Badminton. This game has been around forever. This net doesn’t require spikes, and I think that would keep it from sagging.
LADDER TOSS – We bought one of these years ago for Katie’s graduation party. I had played it somewhere and it was a lot of fun. We will be pulling this out the next time we have a gathering.
HORSESHOES – I haven’t played horseshoes in years, but I used to love it. Most kids these days have probably never heard of it. Let’s bring it back.
BOCCE BALL – The only time I’ve played this was at an Italian restaurant, but it was a lot of fun.
GIANT JENGA – Not gonna’ lie, this one scares me a little. We went to a party with a reallly giant one, and I was terrified it would fall on someone. I think this one is a slightly smaller scale, so probably a lot safer.
CORN HOLE – This is a crowd pleaser, and I see a lot of people who take them (in a wagon) out on the beach to play. Little kids love playing with the bean bags for this one.
Check out this post with red, white and blue looks to go with your new outdoor games for July 4th.
Or this post has more red, white and blue all American summer style that would be fantastic for the 4th.
Have you signed up for my newsletters yet? You can do it at the bottom of this page. On Monday’s I share last weeks top 6 sellers, and on Friday’s there is a complete list of sales. There are usually things included in the newsletter for subscribers that don’t appear on the blog.😉 It’s kind of like Instagram. I share things all week long in stories and on the grid that don’t necessarily make it here.
Have a wonderful Monday!!!!
