Well it’s time to shop Amazon’s big spring sale. There are a lot of great buys to grab, and I spent some time yesterday finding them so you don’t have to. That’s the hardest thing about Amazon in my opinion. There’s just sooooo much stuff, it’s hard to find the deals. These are just a drop in the bucket, but they are all things that made me stop scrolling and look.
BEAUTY & FASHION
TRAVEL MAKEUP MIRROR – I recently ordered this for myself. A lot of times when you’re traveling and there’s limited bathroom or counter space you need to go somewhere else and do your makeup. This is so handy. (Would make a great Easter basket filler for girls)
CURLING IRON – I used this brand of curling iron for a long time….until I made the switch to T3. This one is cheaper if you’re in need of a new one and not ready to splurge on a T3. (if you do want a T3, they are having 25% off site wide right now.)
MAKEUP – This is the Laura Geller makeup I’ve been using for the last 6ish weeks. I really like it. It goes on so easily, and wears well.
SUNSCREEN – I just ordered sunscreen for my face or I would have put this in my cart.
HAIR SPRAY – This is in my cart. I really love the Living Proof line and the hairspray is one of my favorites. It has a nice fine mist/spray.
TEXTURE SPRAY – I use this texture spray on my roots several days a week for added volume.
SANDALS – I like this sandals. They’re very popular and I tried them, but my feet are narrow and they were just too wide. If you have a foot that’s a normal width, I’d definitely give them a try.
BAG – These bags have been around over a year and are still really popular. Great size and would even be workable as a diaper bag.
DRESS – This dress is from a good brand and comes in a ton of color/print options.
DRESS – I’ve had this dress in several colors and it’s so cute. Dress it up or down, and definitely size down. This brand runs generous.
DRESS – I have a total obsession with blue and white striped this year, and I’m not alone. They are everywhere. This dress is super cute and a great deal.
HOUSE & HOME
PORTABLE FIRE PIT – I would love to have one of these…if it wasn’t agains the HOA rules😭. Great idea for Father’s Day.
DRILL KIT – Also a great idea for Father’s Day and a really good deal.
MY FAVORITE ICE CREAM MACHINE – I share this every summer. I’m telling you, if you like homemade ice cream this is the way to go. No ice, no salt and it makes delicious ice cream. Here’s our family favorite recipe.
CROCKPOT – This looks like a really good crock pot. I like having more than one for having a crowd.
MY FAVORITE STEAMER – I use this almost every single day. It works G R E A T and can be used horizontally without dripping water. Game changer for curtains and bedding as well as clothing.
LITTLE GREEN CLEAN MACHINE – This is ideal for upholstery, car interiors, floor mats and small carpet stains.
CHOPPER – Katie has one of these and it works like a charm.
BOILED EGG COOKER – This would be ideal for families that love boiled eggs and it would be great for getting ready to dye Easter eggs. They make one that’s two layers so you can do even more.
LID ORGANIZER – Tupperware lids are almost as hard to organize and keep track of as socks. HA! This looks like a great way to keep them tidy.
Are you shopping Amazon’s Big Spring Sale? If you aren’t a member it’s the perfect time to sign up. You also get axcess to Prime Video and Prime Music. I use both of these all the time.
The 4th of July is just around the corner and that means lots of cookouts and backyard BBQ’s. There are so many fun outdoor games for July 4th, and you can order them on Amazon to get them in time. These would be fun to have set up in stations around your yard, or some of them could easily be carried to a park if you’re gathering there.
I’ve seen several of these in use at the beach as well. Big kids/young adults and even older adults sometimes enjoy having something to do when spending an entire day on the beach.
GIANT WOODEN YARD DICE – You can play two games with these giant dice. Yardzee or Yardkle. HAHAHA!
YARD DARTS – Not only are these yard darts, they glow in the dark. Now personally, by the time it gets dark during the summer we’re already in our jammies, but if you like to walk on the wild side, these are for you. LOL
YARD CONNECT FOUR – Did you have Connect Four as a kid? I did, and I loved it. I think this would be fun, and even the littles could play.
BADMINTON – This looks like such an easy way to play Badminton. This game has been around forever. This net doesn’t require spikes, and I think that would keep it from sagging.
LADDER TOSS – We bought one of these years ago for Katie’s graduation party. I had played it somewhere and it was a lot of fun. We will be pulling this out the next time we have a gathering.
HORSESHOES – I haven’t played horseshoes in years, but I used to love it. Most kids these days have probably never heard of it. Let’s bring it back.
BOCCE BALL – The only time I’ve played this was at an Italian restaurant, but it was a lot of fun.
GIANT JENGA – Not gonna’ lie, this one scares me a little. We went to a party with a reallly giant one, and I was terrified it would fall on someone. I think this one is a slightly smaller scale, so probably a lot safer.
CORN HOLE – This is a crowd pleaser, and I see a lot of people who take them (in a wagon) out on the beach to play. Little kids love playing with the bean bags for this one.
Check out this post with red, white and blue looks to go with your new outdoor games for July 4th.
Or this post has more red, white and blue all American summer style that would be fantastic for the 4th.

There are usually things included in the newsletter for subscribers that don’t appear on the blog.😉 It’s kind of like Instagram.
