I promised more new spring styles from Loft today, so here we go. Lucky for us, Loft is having a 30% off sale, so it’s a great time to shop.
White trousers & top
I haven’t jumped on the trouser train yet, but these are on their way to me. This pair is a size 4 and they are so big, but I love the look.
The top is just like a dress I shared in this post. The print is so pretty. This would make a great workwear of church look.
White trousers and eyelet top
I got a size 2 in the pants for this look and they’re better, but were still a little big. I ordered a 2P and a 0…we ALL know I am not a normal 0…only at Chico’s. LOL.
Trousers & Poet blouse
This is such a fresh look. Another good style for work or church.
Tiled Halter Midi
This neckline is one of my favorites, and the print on this dress is so chic. It’s also available in a blouse that would be great with black pants, the white trousers or even jeans.
This dress also has a matching tie that you can use at the waist.
Shirt dress
I am a huge fan of shirt dresses, and stripes. Mix the two and I just can’t resist. This is the kind of dress you can throw on and go. If you want to change up the look, switch out the belt with a leather or raffia belt.
There are also other colors of stripes and solids in this same style.
Navy Eyelet Dress
When I was a little girl, my mom loved eyelet and dressed me in frequently. I’m not sure I felt as warm and fuzzy about it as she did, but I do now. I adore eyelet. This dress is also available in coral if you want something brighter for spring.
Linen Dress
This was one of my favorite pieces from the try on. It has sweet appliques on the sleeves and you just can’t beat a pretty linen dress. I think this is the kind of dress that won’t go out of style. It’s timeless.
SHOP MORE SPRING STYLES FROM LOFT
I hope you’re having a good week.
The 4th of July is just around the corner and that means lots of cookouts and backyard BBQ’s. There are so many fun outdoor games for July 4th, and you can order them on Amazon to get them in time. These would be fun to have set up in stations around your yard, or some of them could easily be carried to a park if you’re gathering there.
I’ve seen several of these in use at the beach as well. Big kids/young adults and even older adults sometimes enjoy having something to do when spending an entire day on the beach.
GIANT WOODEN YARD DICE – You can play two games with these giant dice. Yardzee or Yardkle. HAHAHA!
YARD DARTS – Not only are these yard darts, they glow in the dark. Now personally, by the time it gets dark during the summer we’re already in our jammies, but if you like to walk on the wild side, these are for you. LOL
YARD CONNECT FOUR – Did you have Connect Four as a kid? I did, and I loved it. I think this would be fun, and even the littles could play.
BADMINTON – This looks like such an easy way to play Badminton. This game has been around forever. This net doesn’t require spikes, and I think that would keep it from sagging.
LADDER TOSS – We bought one of these years ago for Katie’s graduation party. I had played it somewhere and it was a lot of fun. We will be pulling this out the next time we have a gathering.
HORSESHOES – I haven’t played horseshoes in years, but I used to love it. Most kids these days have probably never heard of it. Let’s bring it back.
BOCCE BALL – The only time I’ve played this was at an Italian restaurant, but it was a lot of fun.
GIANT JENGA – Not gonna’ lie, this one scares me a little. We went to a party with a reallly giant one, and I was terrified it would fall on someone. I think this one is a slightly smaller scale, so probably a lot safer.
CORN HOLE – This is a crowd pleaser, and I see a lot of people who take them (in a wagon) out on the beach to play. Little kids love playing with the bean bags for this one.
Check out this post with red, white and blue looks to go with your new outdoor games for July 4th.
Or this post has more red, white and blue all American summer style that would be fantastic for the 4th.

There are usually things included in the newsletter for subscribers that don’t appear on the blog.😉 It’s kind of like Instagram.
