Summers here and Father’s Day is just around the corner. I’ve found some Father’s Day gifts he’ll love. There are various price points, so hopefully there will something you like in your budget. If someone could pat me on the back I’d appreciate it. I already ordered Kent a gift and I’ll share that in a minute.
HEAT RESISTANT BBQ GLOVES – Sam has a pair of these that I’ve seen him use several times. They’re so smart, for both protection and keeping your hands clean. Any guy who’s a big BBQ’er would love these.
TABLETOP BLACKSTONE – I love the idea of a tabletop Blackstone. Seems to me like that makes it portable and great for camping or tailgating.
WEEKEND DUFFLE BAG – I’ve heard great things about this bag, and if your guy travels or even you’re just getting away for the weekend, it would be fun for him to have a bag that’s just for him.
WIRELESS SMART MEAT THERMOMETER – This is another thing I saw Sam using when I was at their house for Memorial Day. (If you’re new, Sam is my son-in-law) It was so cool that he could keep an eye on the meat while hanging out inside with us.
CORN HOLE – We love corn hole. Kent actually built a set for Katie’s graduation party.
PIZZA OVEN – If Kent was one of these husbands who liked to cook, I’d definitely be getting one of these for him…unfortunately he doesn’t, but he does do a great job cleaning up. Go me!
TOMMY JOHN SHIRT – I sent my brother one of the Tommy John sleep sets for his recovery. The material is so silky and comfortable. I have a set too, so that’s how I know.😉 I have a code for 25% off your purchase, (LISA25) but right now gifts for Dad are 30% off.
WALLET – This is the style wallet Kent likes, and he likes them to have a “window” for his license. They’re honestly hard to find this thin in combination with that.
LEATHER WIRELESS CHARGING VALET – I thought this was really cool. It would be good on a desk or in a drawer or closet.
OUTDOOR FREESTYLE ROCKER – This was on Sam’s Christmas list, and Benny and Erin got for him. It was really cool.
HEATING MASSAGE STADIUM CHAIR – Football season is freezing once fall really hits, and early soccer season is too. This would be so handy for keeping warm and comfy.
PAJAMA PANTS – I love this brand. They’re super soft and comfortable. Great for sleeping or lounging.
TEMPERATURE CONTROL SMART MUG – Great to keep on a desk, especially if you’re more of a coffee sipper.
REEF FLIP FLOPS – Reef flip flops are my favorite and Kent’s. This is what I got Kent for Father’s Day. His are worn slam out.
PORTABLE FIRE PIT – This is another one of those things that would be great for tailgating or camping. It’s also handy for at home use.
SLIPPERS – Kent has and loves these. Wears them year round.
BIG NEWS…Allie + Bess is having a 30% off sitewide sale this weekend. Use code SITEWIDE30 with THIS LINK to get the discount.
So what do you think? Are these Father’s Day gifts he’ll love? I sure hope so. I also hope it was helpful and maybe sparked an idea you haven’t previously thought about.
The 4th of July is just around the corner and that means lots of cookouts and backyard BBQ’s. There are so many fun outdoor games for July 4th, and you can order them on Amazon to get them in time. These would be fun to have set up in stations around your yard, or some of them could easily be carried to a park if you’re gathering there.
I’ve seen several of these in use at the beach as well. Big kids/young adults and even older adults sometimes enjoy having something to do when spending an entire day on the beach.
GIANT WOODEN YARD DICE – You can play two games with these giant dice. Yardzee or Yardkle. HAHAHA!
YARD DARTS – Not only are these yard darts, they glow in the dark. Now personally, by the time it gets dark during the summer we’re already in our jammies, but if you like to walk on the wild side, these are for you. LOL
YARD CONNECT FOUR – Did you have Connect Four as a kid? I did, and I loved it. I think this would be fun, and even the littles could play.
BADMINTON – This looks like such an easy way to play Badminton. This game has been around forever. This net doesn’t require spikes, and I think that would keep it from sagging.
LADDER TOSS – We bought one of these years ago for Katie’s graduation party. I had played it somewhere and it was a lot of fun. We will be pulling this out the next time we have a gathering.
HORSESHOES – I haven’t played horseshoes in years, but I used to love it. Most kids these days have probably never heard of it. Let’s bring it back.
BOCCE BALL – The only time I’ve played this was at an Italian restaurant, but it was a lot of fun.
GIANT JENGA – Not gonna’ lie, this one scares me a little. We went to a party with a reallly giant one, and I was terrified it would fall on someone. I think this one is a slightly smaller scale, so probably a lot safer.
CORN HOLE – This is a crowd pleaser, and I see a lot of people who take them (in a wagon) out on the beach to play. Little kids love playing with the bean bags for this one.
Check out this post with red, white and blue looks to go with your new outdoor games for July 4th.
Or this post has more red, white and blue all American summer style that would be fantastic for the 4th.

My sister in law had that outdoor rocker at our party last weekend and when I saw my step-father looking it up on the internet to check it out I knew I was going to order one for him for father’s day. I nearly bought one for myself too!
