Good morning friends! Did you have fun celebrating our country’s birthday? We sure did. Good food, fun with friends and little kids to entertain us for hours.
Here’s a little peak at our festivities.
Harper loved all the July 4th accessories and kept them on all night, but as the night progressed her look digressed. It was comical.
Mel’s Patriotic Chocolate Chip Cookies from The Larson Lingo…they were a huge hit and I had waaaay more than I should have. Back to #FWTFL today. Katie and I did our workout yesterday but decided in all fairness to our country we should really celebrate the occasion.
#werationalized
Key Lime pie made with Key Limes from our very own tree.
Katie got in on the festivities after she got off of work.
These are our sweet friends who have been visiting from Hawaii and staying with us. We call Ella and Harper our practice grand-babies. Little children sure make celebrating holidays more fun.
Hope your day was full of friends, family, fun and food.

I got so sick yesterday by going off my calorie count- ugh! Looks like you guys had a lot of fun- wish I had the kids' energy!

I am starving this morning and those cookies are just staring at me saying "eat me with your coffee"…they are going in the freezer!!! Yes, I wish I had the kids energy too! Have a great day!!!

Having littles around makes it so much more exciting doesn't it? I made those same cookies but into bars…I ate WAY too many! I left my kids a chore list this morning and one of the chores was to finish off the cookie bars!!

Yes! Little kids are so much fun! I'm pretty sure that chore will get marked off the list! We had a bunch left that are going in the freezer. Happy Hump Day!

Celebrating with kids really is so much fun! Now I want chocolate chip cookies and key lime pie! I indulged yesterday as well and today I need to get back on track, dessert is my weakness and I love to bake. Gotta find ways to stay busy today – haha!!! Looks like you all had a fabulous 4th!
xo,

Oh my goodness, I know! I love to bake so I can lick spoons and bowls as much as the finished product. Happy Wednesday…and now I'm going to be totally confused about the day of the week until Saturday. XO
