Several months ago I was approached by a clothing brand I wasn’t familiar with and decided at that time to pass up the opportunity. Well fast forward and quite a few of the bloggers I follow were doing posts for them, and they contacted me again, so I decided to give it a shot.
So just who is this new company? Ethyl Clothing. Have you heard of them? Well it turns out they really aren’t new at all. The company was formed in Seattle, WA by Kathy and Alan Shultz, and they have been in business for 30+ years. Today they create a beautiful missy fit line that is vanity sized, one size larger than a standard fit. They set a high standard for the company and strive to provide exceptional customer service to their customers. They offer free shipping on orders over $99 and a prepaid postage return label in every package that allows you to return any items you are not satisfied with.
*Disclosure: I was provided these items in return for sharing them on my blog, but all thoughts and opinions are my own.
So when I started looking at the website my first impression was that the target audience is probably a little older than I am, but I still saw several things that I felt I’d enjoy. I chose this tunic (the Anne), which is also available in several other colors. I’m afraid the black may already be sold out because I can’t find it on the website. After looking at the sizing charts, I stuck with my normal size top and ordered down one size for the jeans. I think I could have gone with the extra-small tunic, but I’d prefer the small to allow for a little extra length.
It has a cowl neck that is not overpowering like some cowl necks can be. The fabric is light weight sweater material, and extremely soft making it very comfortable. There are also two pockets on the front that don’t show up well in the pictures but make for a nice detail. I have a feeling this will be a go to for me when I’m traveling and will also pair beautifully with leggings due to the length and slits on the side that allow it to hang nicely.
The jeans are the Catherine – Hawaii. Two of my favorite things. LOL. Katie’s name is really Katherine and of course it’s no secret that after our trip to Hawaii last October (I can’t believe it’s been a year) I am officially bitten by the Hawaii bug and ready to go back. They are a pull on style, and I was hesitant about that but they make for a great silhouette under a tunic like this, and I was really pleasantly surprised by how nice the waist band was designed and that they have actual functioning pockets.
I of course added some of my favorite accessories to finish off the look.
Check out the Ethyl site and see what they have to offer. They offer a wide variety of tops, jeans, pants and jackets and don’t forget there’s free shipping and returns on orders over $99.

You are going to get a ton of wear out of that cowl neck tunic – I love that it has pockets to keep your hands warm. With all the traveling you do it will be a great travel piece and bonus that it’s so soft. The jeans really photographed well – the wash is nice and they look great with your cute shoes. Of course I am a huge fan of that hair – you look like a 20 something! You are rockin’ this look girlfriend!
xo,

I think I already told you this on IG, but your hair is so pretty in these photos!! What curling iron do you use? I love this cowl neck tunic! I’ve heard of this brand recently, all thanks to some other bloggers. You look great! I love those leopard lace ups flats, too!

Thanks Carrie! I should curl it more, it’s just so heavy the curl falls out. I might take it a little shorter and then it seems to do better curled. I use a 1 1/4” Conair curling iron. Nothing fancy, but I’m tempted to try a T3 curling wand and see if that helps the curl hold. Happy weekend! XO

I’ve never heard of this brand, but I love the pieces you chose! I’m also sad I still don’t have the shoes you’re wearing. All of the hair came off of the toe of mine, so I donated them earlier this year, but I loved them! your hair is just gorgeous here too!

Thank you Brooke. That’s a major bummer about your shoes. They are still a fav of mine…although I do have a hard time keeping them tied. Thanks for the hair compliment too. I guess I should curl it more…it’s just so heavy the curl falls out quickly. Happy weekend! XO
