Hey there friends and Friday! So happy you are both here.
I’ve got a lot to do. This morning I’m headed to a leaders retreat for bible study and will get home tomorrow night. I’ve never been to one before, but I think it will be fun and up-lifting. That means I need to get right to my favorites for this week so I can get all the things I need to do done before I leave.
Just like every other week I’m joining Erika, Narci, and Andrea, so make sure you hop over and visit them too.

I had been looking for some new Valentine’s decorations for the last few weeks and was coming up empty. I don’t know if it was just that everything sold out earlier or there wasn’t as much available this year. Anyway, I found this adorable little wood sign on sale before Valentine’s Day at Home Goods. I think it’s so cute I’ll just leave it on the shelf for a while.

Y’all know how much I love my Rodan and Fields business. Well I am so blessed and lucky to have such a wonderful and supportive sponsor. We actually have a fun story. We were sorority sisters in college and hadn’t been in touch in over 20 years and got reconnected on Facebook. Who knew that would lead me to a new business venture? Not me.? I got the sweetest package in the mail with these cute gifts in it. This business has opened up so many fun doors for me. Not only do I love my skin with the products, and well you know I’m just nuts over my eyelashes, but it’s also providing me with fun money and and awesome community of people.

I always make a special dessert for us on Valentine’s Day and this year I went with Tiramisu. I put it in these cute mugs for “generous” individual servings. Kent loved it! Truth be told, I loved it too.

When we landscaped our little back yard we were excited to put in some citrus plants. Well our lemon bush has finally started produce lemons. We’ve got several ready to be picked⇧ and a new crop coming on.⇩
We also planted a lime tree and it’s got a bunch of little limes on it too.
Hopefully they’ll continue to grow and mature and we’ll have a whole little crop.

These hills are behind the park in our neighborhood. Aren’t they beautiful. I know I’ve told y’all I’m tired of the the rain, but I sure do love the way the hills are all green and look so beautiful against the blue sky.

If you missed yesterdays post on my favorite makeup must haves, you can read it here.
So what made your list this week? Maybe something from your Valentine?
Time for me to get moving.
Here’s wishing you and great weekend.

Love the sign you picked up. And I can't even tell you how jealous I am that you have fresh fruit growing in your yard right now. We still have 2 1/2 feet of snow in the yard, and I am so over it! 😉 Have a great weekend!

Thanks Jenny! We do love having the fruit trees, it's such a novelty for us. (we've got an avocado tree that I don't think is every going to produce??) Hang in there with the snow. Boy do I remember being at that point just 4 short years ago when we lived in MN. Spring is coming my friend!!! Hope you have a great weekend too!

As much as I love Texas, you make California living look so nice! I'm going to need a tiramisu recipe soon! Mascarpone cheese is very expensive here at the grocery store- I need some Italians to hook me up! Have a great one!
