Happy Monday friends!
I can say that and really mean it. We finally had the sun reappear and what a difference it makes on my outlook. We’d had so much rain and gray skies I’d started to become a little blue. I don’t know how people are able to live in places where the majority of time skies are gray. I couldn’t do it. If you do, my hats off to you.
Going through my pictures and deciding what to highlight from the weekend I decided to just to do a dump of a lot of pictures from the last two weeks.
Last weekend we went to an indoor vintage flea market and both found this candle to pretty funny. Thankfully it smelled a lot better than the name would lead you to believe. It actually reminded me of my favorite candle.
We took our usual walk around the outlets which typically involves a stop in to Starbucks.
And Kent was very amused with himself when he staged this picture to send the kids.
I got 13 Valentine treats together to send to our college kids at church as a reminder that their church family loves them even when they are away.
And since it finally stopped raining I was able to wear my new Converse slip-ons. These are definitely a different look for me, but I love them.
This gray tee is also a new favorite.
Friday night out to dinner.
With a beautiful sunset.

It had been a while since I made “Mom’s” banana muffins so we started our Saturday morning off on the right foot with these yummy goodies. For recipe click {here}.
Katie went to Chattanooga with a friend for the weekend and while they were there, they went to the aquarium. She had a lot of fun pictures on her Snapchat story and I stole this one.
Benny sat for his FE (Fundamentals of Engineering Exam) on Saturday morning for 5 long hours and he’s so happy to mark that off his list.
Errands on Saturday
I know that a lot of people are into juicing and it’s a great way to get your veggies and extra nutrients into your diet, but I’m sorry this just cracked me up. This woman was waggin’ around this HUGE bottle of green juice and drinking out of it.

I was looking for something in one of my drawers recently and came across this.
If Katie and her friends decide to have a 90’s throwback party, I’ve got them covered in the earrings department.
We finished up the weekend by going to an early Valentine’s dinner and of course I didn’t take any pictures.
Hope you had a good weekend!
Happy Valentine’s Day Eve❤️

Pretty sure my 7 year old would love the Monkey Farts candle! Will for sure try your banana muffins, and I miss DQ ice cream so much! My daughter is deathly afraid of their mascot, Curly the Ice Cream Cone.

OH NO…afraid of the Curly Ice Cream Cone??? That's tragic. You might need to sneak to to DQ??
