I realized yesterday it was my ONE YEAR BLOGIVERSARY!!!
WOW!!!
I really can hardly believe it’s already been a year and I now have 208 posts under my belt.
For over a year I talked about starting a blog and finally after Katie’s consistent urging (and trying to figure out a name) I did it. You can read my first blog post here.
Thank you so much to each and every one of you have taken a few minutes out of your day to check in and see what I had to say, be it once, twice or everyday. I can’t begin to tell you how much I appreciate your support.
You know the saying you have to crawl before you can walk? Well I think that same saying can be applied to learning most new things and blogging is definitely no exception. There is so much to learn and I’ve only scratched the surface. I read all of these beautifully done blogs with gorgeous photography and wonder when I will ever get there? I’ve never considered myself a writer and photography is not one of my gifts or talents. It’s easy to forget that each and every blogger started with just one post. I know for some it comes much easier than others and I fall into the later of the two. I don’t have a great knowledge of all things computer and all the other things that go along with writing and growing a blog. Endless hours are spent trying to find interesting, informative, funny, engaging content.
Blogging is a community filled with a lot of sweet people who support each other and are willing to help you learn and mentor you and for that I’m so grateful. However, without YOU, the readers none of that matters. Thank you for commenting, engaging, encouraging and being a part of my day. The favorite part of my day. I love answering your comments and getting to know you.
When I started this I really didn’t know what to expect. Some days I’ll admit I wonder if I should throw in the towel and no sooner do I think that, I receive a new comment or follower and I then continue with my “baby steps”. These are the things that make me giddy.
So thank you for joining me on this journey and allowing me to share my life with you.

Well said! And congrats on the blog anniversary…. And whenever I have feelings of doubt/insecurity, I always read the following verse. (luke 1:45) I have it posted in my office! We may not all go through the same struggles, but I think as women we can all admit that we feel inferior sometimes.
